Rain

Life is like rain
It has it's ups
and it's downs
Has it's exciting times
But also dull moments
It hits new people
At every stop
and paints memories
In every heart
Without rain
There can be no life.

Broken leaves

Ever crunched the leaf in step?

As seasons spread
Crawling seasons leapt

Dug your hands in sand?
Too far from water
castles on the land

Kings and Queens at the moat
singing tunes
From the boat

Dance upon the redeemer
tip toe
to silence

Where our arm of saviour
stretches

to only look
To our behavour

Good Bad
Happy Sad

Darkness beholds all
Yet

All have light

Fancy or Flight?

simple like water

I wish I was simple
but I am like water
I can be clear or cloudy
calm or to rowdy

I can be cool
but like to get hot
gentle as rain
but turn into a squall

soft as the snow
or rolled into a ball
I can be salient
or made to steam
be real cloudy or clear

be swift or serene
be loud and powerful
silent and magnificent as a glacier
Deeper than Mariana
and reach the top of the Himalayas

Giving and cleansing
Simple and pure
fast or slow
but I know for sure
I always get where I want to go

The Little Fir Tree part One

There was a plantation of fir trees
for some unknown reason, most of them
were three to four years old but one
It was only in its first year of growth

When Christmas drew near, the loggers came
and started to cut down some of the oldest
The little fir asked what is going on?
the other trees said its Christmas time

They will be taken into people's homes
then they will be decorated and lit up
parcels at their feet sharing the joy
of Christmas, a real honour to be chosen

I want to be a Christmas tree said the fir
you are much too young and far too little
they take most trees when they are four
you will have to wait and do some growing

I want it to be spring it said not winter
then I will be able to grow big like you
soon the loggers had finished cutting down
now there were large gaps in the rows

The little fir thought lots of sun helps
at last the spring came and with it growth
the little fir stretched as high as it could
filling out as it reached upwards for the sun

In the morning men came and started to plant
soon there were lots of little trees around
one worker said strange there is one little one
should we cut it down, no leave it to grow bigger

Swept Away

Doesn't matter what you say.... or what you do...in the night or in the day they will be coming for you...to take your life away ....take it right from you.. Should of listen to the warning signs ......No where left to run ....no where to hide Tomorrow just the end of to Today.....for get about your pain and sorrow it all be gone tomorrow Nothing left to beg or barrow No more dirt to swallow The words i say don't follow in side be come so hollow does not matter how much you pay does not what you say or what you do in the end we get swept away.......................................

Mavricks

Mysterious is the ocean,
Waves are seething forward toward the beach,
I see them in the distant so high they reach the sky,

I wonder what the surfers think as they paddle out to the horizon,
To ride the Mavericks as high as the sky.
And guide on thru the pipeline to the setting sunset,

To take it to the other side to ride "The Mavricks". to the end!
Be safe the surfers so sure they will do it again!

AUTUMN

Another season of color,
Unto is such and there is no other.
To see those leaves fall,
Under our feet the winter will call.
Many days and nights are so cool,
Now those kids, yeah, back to school.
