SEASONAL CHANGES.

Erratic weather patterns, warn us of spring
New buds burst, as falling raindrops sing
Followed quickly by sunshine, so bright
Dawn comes early, flooding a sky with light

From whipping winds, trees are stirred awake
Brown twigs and branches, green clad make
A cheerful change, knowing they'll be dressed
In leaves and blossom, their beauty caressed

A warming sun, becomes a heater for the soil
Four seasons every year, proof nature is loyal
Soon newborn creatures, will welcome each day
As colour lifts a scene, turning dull winter... gay

Each day as changes, more apparent become
We welcome a new season, and warming sun
Springtime herald, for the long summer ahead
Waking in dawn light, young children go to bed

With curtains closed tightly, to block out light
Or they will be restless, and want to take flight
Staying outside longer, to enjoy longer days
Sleep is important, time tomorrow will allow play.

Thoughts turn to beach walks, with family and friends
Bar-B-Que and bare feet, carefree bike rides send
Whether rural or city life, all ages are eager to share
For seasonal changes, indifference is certainly rare.....

Troubles Behind (Haiku Challenge)

Sunshine in the rain
Peaceful is this life again
Breeze on the water

Green as a wet fern
Freshness as a mountain kissed
Blue as summer skies

Run away with me
I will help you find your way
Going home again

Reality

Nourished perished moment will never be forever

Nor the passed by time will ever return

Would you ever succeed while standing on the shore

Dive deep in the middle of the ocean to find your peal.

Chitter-Chatter

As the last leaves flitter to the ground
There’s this sense of urgency falls all around
Some may call it disquieting or just wound
While others just blend in with the crowd

What we surmise for ourselves to give
Would be wise for us all to forgive
Would this be the first time you live
Or entertain thoughts to relive

Our entire lives are all that matter
Between the raindrops pitter-patter
The clouds do break and scatter
The winter bird will sing and chatter

Last of New England’s fall days. Leaves have almost completely dropped and the sun is now low in the sky.

Glitter Stars

Waves of time moving across Space
Memories formed that
Trail behind us like a wake;
The future yet to come;

As glitter stars shine light,
Opon an Immensity;
We cannot comprehend

Nature determines Rhythm

For a day in late April yesterday it was stiffly shady with a cold wind.
The year before last was already summery warm so moved naked and freely in the way nature created us.

When came back from a bike-tour where visited emotionally cold, unfriendly mutants,
thraw in warm bath water cleansed of
negative influences.
From the bathtub straight to bed;
Floating snowflakes confirmed the cold.
Duged out the Winter blanket and woke up
bathed in sweet sweats because morning sun's rays
heat up the room.
Stayed in the cozy home, because it's cold outside.

Nature determines Rhythm

Sleepin' in the dark and gettin' up when the rooster crows in the dung heap,
followin' dreams

Age

Age has a no
Whats your no may I ask
Are you old are you young
You may ask

Will I tell
Or give you a no don't ask
What is age have you
Lived a life of stiff have you chilled with a life of ease you may ask will I tell you may have to find out
Is my skin smooth is my skin old
What's your age you may ask
