Choose

Choose the right,
Don't make the same mistake tonight...
You must fight,
To keep the light inside your life...
Don't lose sight,
Love is always on your side...

Why do you hate,
Theres a truth inside that...
I demonstrate,
I wish you'd use it before...
It's to late,
Don't leave it up to fate...

Lose it or love it,
It's within your reach...
Open up your eyes,
Baby, maybe you can see...

Emphasized on your love got me terrified,
This pain I hide deep inside...

Endless

For our relationship came to a crashing halt,
I know a lot of our problems were all my fault...
If only we could go back with all that I've learned,
But now is to late once the bridges were burned...

Regardless of all the sadness we each felt,
We took the best from the cards we were dealt...
I'll never forget the times we both shared,
Always remember the times we both cared...

Its hard to believe that it ended so fast,
Hard to accept that its all in the past...
What more can I say with a simple rhyme,
This poem is short yet endless in time...

Confused

Why is it so hard to get through to you,
The way is closed no matter what I do...
I want to slap myself for even trying,
Finally seeing the signs your implying...

I've discovered that your not interested,
Embarrassed and ashamed of all the things I did...
If a dream is a wish your heart makes,
Then my heart is a fool which continually breaks...

Every morning I awake thinking of you,
It's the same story when the day is through...
I simply wish you were lying next to me,
Staring into your eyes and caressing you softly...

It's not fair this way I always feel,
I wish it were fake and something unreal...
But I feel it in every fiber of my being,
Cause you're the only one my heart is seeing...

Our Dance

I could tell how she looked at me,
Was with her friends but she broke free...
In my arms she whispered softly,
To demonstrate our passion apparently...

On the floor we made our stands,
Then upon her hips I placed my hands...
With the rhythm we slowly swayed,
Maintained the beat as the music played...

With wolf whistles from the crowd,
Pressed me close ignoring cheers so loud...
Indeed I spun her around on spot,
Our feverish excitement was boiling hot...

She smiled bright as I hoisted high,
Dipped her low and heard the crowd sigh...
Her glittering eyes found my heart,
Completely entwined no end nor start...

I could tell how she looked at me,
Without this girl my life would be empty...
Once this relationship was birthed,
I knew my life would be forever cursed...

(CHORUS)
She told me,
That she would never hurt me...
But we'll see,
Has anyone ever made you feel that way...

Words to my Unknown

These are my words to my unknown;

Because there's nothing left to hide,
These words spilling out my insides...
I knew it wasn't easy, but never worn,
Caught me running through a storm...

These are my words to my unknown;

Now I wonder if you'll ever feel me,
I love so much it's going to kill me...
Lost in my mind and my troubled soul,
Send me one that will make me whole...

These are my words to my unknown;

Can you picture one in a rush to give,
Fighting to give love a chance to live...
To see the truth behind a broken man,
Lost for time and just a simple plan...

These are my words to my unknown;

I wonder if I'm wrong when I do this,
Write a poem and seal it with a kiss...
But, please don't get it wrong though,
Cause if I'm buggin' I can let you go...

These are my words to my unknown;

Lost Love

Looking back, it's just a dream to me; it was beautiful, enchantingly beautiful. But it is lost and I shall not see it anymore; though, I am content. For I love with all the strength of my passionate nature; why, I do not know.

Nor do I much care to know; evidently, I should cherish both coming together and going apart to understand love. Our fleeting moments pressed upon my mind; so that when they were taken away I might restore and double them by the blur of my tears.

I know how they look at me; yet, I say and write what I feel and brave all the shame that they so easily reward. It is better to be hated for what I am than to be loved for what I am not. Is my loneliness just an invitation from my heart to share myself?

I remember her words; delicate crystals of snow, cascading ripples of love, our hearts silently pleading for comfort. Why not give favor to the impulse and invitation this loneliness offers? Look closely, love desires expression; are we too busy? Are our days too actively filled; or is the absence there of the foundation of our love, waiting for us?

Yet, what are we waiting for; fragments of a new or lost love, a frail glimpse of a could be, except cautiously approached? Who seeks to betray the impulse of the heart; persuading themselves to wait, to slow one beloved? Who lingers on this place; contemplating, when a stroke of absence may bring this foundation collapsing.

Staggering off the scene, calloused hearts, maintained when we confine ourselves to our bored routines. Our stage, this love; preparations have been set, carefully tended to, yet, we extinguish the flame in our fear. Suppose we gave it a chance to blossom; astonished, exhilarating and unexpected, more than we suspected?

Oh what extraordinary events would be revealed to us in our companionship; enhancing our entire physical and spiritual journey and nature. Why do we wait; to narrowly escape this spectacular arrangement? Continually retreating, refusing and convincing ourselves of something other? Why are we so stubborn that we care not of that which tugs at our hearts and pleads for our communion?

Would you love it if you did not fight for it? Would you love it if it was too easy? Yet, would you sacrifice it for fear, for tradition or for others? Or perhaps, will you forever wait or settle for an illusion; looking forward and backward, but not within?

New Frontier

Oh, obscuring all my qualities,
My emotion brings me to my knees...
Emphasized the words you speak,
This confession simply makes me weak...

Oh, if you only knew my love,
Gradually revealing truth from above...
I'll be your friend but hear me out,
If preoccupied please don't leave me out...

Oh, I'll walk to the end for you,
Distance is nothing if we were two...
So whisper words to heal or see,
My love for you is my authenticity...

Oh, breathlessly take a chance,
Courage can blossom true romance...
Our friendship is a new frontier,
Give me a chance and I'll be here...

Love interludes...

Love interludes are like pebbles,
Some are round and smooth,
Some are jagged and rough,
Some are warm and sparkle like champagne,
Others are cold and lifeless.

Love interludes are like flowers,
Some are bright and yellow, blossoming like sunflowers,
Others are like shrivelled violets, drab and colourless and grey,
Some are red and fiery like roses,
Others are bland and vapid like unassuming, pale, off-white daisies.

Love interludes are like wines,
Some are soothing smooth and satisfying,
Others leave you with a rampant hangover,
Some are full and mature and satisfying,
Others leave you dull and empty and aching.

Love interludes are like oceans,
Some are wild and raging,
Others are soft and mellow,
Some are cheery and turquoise,
Others are melancholy and colic.

Love interludes, we play with them,
Some are like nimble sea-nymphs, pleasing and alluring,
Others are like wet whores in summer; they leave a stench in your nostrils,
Some cause your heart to explode with inner symphonies,
Others leave you feeling like a lost fart in a haunted shit-house.

Love interludes,
They are like Chinese fortune cookies,
You love them or you hate them,
Love interludes,
You take them, you leave them.

What means to be romantic....

To be romantic means to love music,
To feel it,to live it ,
To be romantic means to live any
Nice love feeling.
To be romantic means to love nature
To love flowers,kids and animals.
To be romantic means to live in intensity,
In sensibility and sensitivity.
To be romantic means to love poetry
To feel it,to write it.
To be romantic means to to be a dreamer
TO have imagination to apply it,
To be in your soul a kid.
To be romantic is a great quality.

JOINING TRUE LOVE

JOINING TRUE LOVE TOGETHER,
IS LIKE TWO SHADOWS PASSING
IN THE NIGHT;
GLIMMERING RAYS OF HOPE,
BEING BROUGHT TOGETHER UNDER
A BEAUTIFUL MOONLIGHT;
A MISTY BREEZE FROM THE OCEAN,
THE WAVES UPON THE SHORE;
THEY AND GOD ARE WHAT SEALS TRUE
LOVE TOGETHER,
TO BE AS ONE FOR EVER MORE............
