Poet's Promise

The days have been stretching,
and seeming like years
The lonliness hurts,
just as bad as the tears
And all I can do,
is wish you were here
Holding me tight,
to shut out all my fear
Yet I still love you,
more than you know
I find it impossible,
to let you go
That's why I'm holding,
your memory so strong
For you stole my heart,
and to you I belong
This is my hope and my prayer and my dream
To find you one day,
and make you my queen

Love and Forgiveness

Love is forgiveness
Forgiveness is love
If you're unable to forgive
You're unable to love
Love lost
Forgiveness forgot

(kisses)

I love you somewhere outthere* Take me with you* While I fall in luv* Resting place of heart* The life you hope for* The life you fantasize about* The nature of desire* The prolonged urgency* To create these experiences* The song of harmony* Starts in the place of stillness* Listen to your hearts music* Always do I love*

As It Was Meant To Be

They met online, some dating site
A random chance encounter
For a while they emailed each other
Then instant messages started
The romance built up over time
A cyberspace connection
When they finally met it was as if
They'd known each other all their lives.

From the airport to a motel room
Then as soon as he dropped his suitcase
He swept her up in his strong arms
And laid her gently on the bed
Leaning over nose to chin
He kissed her, oh so deeply
They fell into each other then
And to this day have not come up.

The love they share goes on and on
As it was meant to be, forever.

Red Moon Woman

Red moon woman
if you're there
please let down your golden hair
So I know you want me too
so that I know its really you
Yes we are strange
so very strange
so delightfully deranged
so unbalanced so unchanged
And if I get lost in your eyes
don't come and find me
I'll be sleeping under over passes
shaded by your thick eyelashes
Released with a whisper
Soft pass through crimson lips

Pensando en Usted

Lets meet again
Where sunlight meets shadow
next to open alleyways
where once upon a time
we danced to Tejano tunes
coming from the window above
Didn't it almost feel like love

Latin flare, your raven hair
messy, and thats my fault
Often I wonder what became of you
and if you ever think of me
Now and then I can taste your lips
Close my eyes and your finger tips,
touching me places the sun rarely ever goes

So if your ever bored and lonely
rummaging around deep inside your mind
look up the memory of me sometime
Remember how for just a moment
we were so close to falling in love
dancing to that Tejano tune above
in alleyways where sunlight meets shadow

This was a capitalist approach when I entered into you
Forcefully like a beast with a passion and bow
I know you were enjoying that
I know you got the pleasure
I enter into you like Julius Seizure.

You were screaming like a baby in the cradle
You were crying like a child
You were laughing,you were mild.

This was a capitalist approach,I entered into you
You know capitalism is the rule of thieves
You might be stolen, you might be scattered like the leaves.

what are you thinking? Please scream
I want to enter you like a dream

Verse I

Friday night in this one-horse town,
Music's lame, thinkin' homeward bound.
Wait a minute! Who's that I see?
Pretty lady lookin' back at me.

Chorus

Is it hot in here, or is it just you?
Lookin' bored, you need somebody to do.
I can curl your toes, girl I swear it's true.
Is it hot in here, or is it just you?

Verse II

I smiled at her. She smiled at me.
Thinkin' she'd like some company.
Hey barkeep, put her on my tab,
An' I'll take one of what she has.

Verse III

Hey sweet thing, can we talk a while?
Lookin' good an' I like your style.
You and me, we could have some fun.
Rock your world til the mornin' come.

Verse IV

She didn't buy my cheesy lines,
Made her laugh, so it worked out fine.
Wadda ya' know now, glory be,
That little girl came home with me.

Intimacy

I want to know you so complete,
Explore each lovely inch of you,
With lips and tongue and fingertips,
Until I know you through and through.

And would you do the same to me?
To leave no part at all untouched,
While loving me so thoroughly,
This is the love I need so much.

Sharing our thoughts and how we feel,
As we nestle in love's embrace.
Telling each other all details,
While our whole lives to here we trace.

This is the way I see our love,
How I would have our life to be.
Nothing held back to stand between,
Intimacy of you and me.

Day to Day

Let me take your hand, my muse
And lead you through the night
A journey safely captained
To pastels of morning light
To watch the sun arise anew
Another day to spend with you
Naught to end with fond adieu
But laughter in our day's review;
A funny thing - or maybe two,
And love whilst builds next morning dew.
