My eyes

When I open my eyes
to see the sun rise
I think of you.

When I hear a robin sing
on the first day of spring
I think of you.

When I see a red rose
on the bush where it grows
I think of you.

When I feel the summer heat
on the sand beneath my feet
I think of you.

When I sit on a beach
another world just out of reach
I think of you.

When I see the colored leaves
fall to the ground from a light breeze
I think of you.

When I look to the night sky
and see the sparkle like in your eyes
I think of you.

When the snow is coming down
to softly blanket the ground
I think of you.

When I go to bed at night
as I turn out the light
I think of you.

When I'm old and near death
and I draw my last breath

Do You Think Of Me....

Do you think of me often, as your going thru your day,
What you want to say to me, feelings you want to convey,
Do you think of our bodies touching, my hand as it touches your face,
Exploring each other completely, in our own time and space,
Do you think of our next encounter and what you would like to do,
When we have time to spend together; making our fantasies come true,
Do you think it will last forever, or maybe just for a while,
It really doesn’t matter, because right now it makes me smile……
When I think of you

About this poem:
I wrote this poem for someone I had been seeing for 3 months. I wasn't sure what direction the relationship was going in and I just wanted him to know that if it lasted for awhile or forever, it made me smile when I thought of him and wondered if he felt the same way.

Your Guardian Angel

Through the mist, you came to me
With broken heart and tearful breast
I offered my hand and you accepted
I felt your pain and took it from you

With a gentle kiss you entered my outstretched wings
That I may keep you from harm and hurt
Your naked body is warm against mine
As you are wrapped in radiating wings

With glowing mist and angels choir we descend
A swirling embrace, a dance of light
Descending ever downward to earth
Pulled inexorably towards our destiny

Naked feet on a carpet of grass
We touch each others soul
Angel's wings lay at our feet
I gladly sacrifice eternity for one lifetime with you.

Let Yourself be Beautiful

Radiate and blind me with your soul
Make me weep in your presence
I see what others cannot
Always let yourself be beautiful

Tell me your secrets
Touch my aching flesh
Let me protect you from fear
And let yourself be beautiful

It's yours to give
Let no man wrench it from you
For they are not worthy of you
Pass them by and let yourself be beautiful

"Loves Me Not"

I complicated our lives
By falling in love with him
I complicated our lives
Now I'm losing my only friend
I don't know why, I had to try
Living my life on the other side
Now I'm so confused
I don't know what to do
He loves me, He loves me not
She loves me, She loves me not
I started blurring the lines
Because I didn't care
I started crossing the line
Cause you were never there
No where to turn,
No one to help,
It's almost like I don't even know myself
Now I have to choose
I don't know what to do
He loves me, He loves me not
She loves me, She loves me not .....

In search of my home…

Looking back at life, one has to smile at one’s foible’s,
‘Meaning!!!’, cry the gurus incessantly, meditate every day for an hour, better still, go to a cave in India, stand on one leg and chant ‘ohm’ for a couple twenty years,
Then, then, you will find life’s ‘deep meaning’, and your ‘home’,
Well, when I was young and ignorant, I fell for 99% of this stuff,
Now, as hair slowly turns to snow, I have found other ways[there are innumerable, actually] to reach ‘nirvana’…

One of my favourites is in the embrace of the beloved,
Women do this easily and its second nature to them, but, we men struggle, nevertheless, it gets easier with practice and ‘conscious awareness’,
So, whereas, in the past, in my quest for ‘nirvana’, I would hungrily and vigorously ‘do’ and ‘devour’ the beloved,
Now, I have learnt to slow down and savour her, I have learnt to imbibe of the great delights to be experienced,
Like drinking unfathomably from her cisterns,
Like gazing meaningfully and deeply into her eyes,
Like just embracing her waste,
Caressing and kissing her arms, all of her, actually, slowly, lovingly, no hurry here, no quickly sowing your genes before the next male-challenger shows up on the scene…[which reminds me of an old story, two bulls, a young-un and an old-un were grazing up on the hill and looking down at all the graceful cows; suddenly the young-un says, “hey, lets rush down there and mount one or two before they realize what’s going on and flee from us…”, “nay, says the old-un, we’ll slowly amble on down there and make sweet, slow love to all of em…]…

Yes, I have learnt to not merely communicate with her but to ‘commune’ with her,
Soul-to-soul, mind-to-mind, makes the concurrent flesh-to-flesh so much more thrilling…,
As I savour her more and more,
Something inexplicably glorious occurs,
Her body so merges with mine, that it becomes my body,
How delicious the shared throbbing and vibrating then becomes, and, well, you get the picture…
My ultra-favourite part is when my heart totally unites with hers,
Her heart becomes my heart,
Oh heaven of heavens...,
And as this saintly grin adorns my face, I finally realize, that the search for ‘my home’ is now, finally over,
Why, had I ‘eyes’ to see, I would have found my home in my beloved’s heart a couple twenty years ago,
But, as the old saying goes, better late than never,
And we both sink into the indefinable bliss where the illusion of ‘separation’ is obliterated,
And only One remains…

Namaste’

TIME

WHEN I HAVE THE TIME, I'LL GIVE YOU MY MIND.
WHEN YOU HAVE MY MIND, I'LL START TO UNWIND.
YOU HEARING MY THOUGHTS OF US MAKING MY BODY REACT WITH LUST.
WANTING TO FEEL YOUR TOUCH, GIVING ME SUCH A RUSH.
LOVING MY THOUGHTS ON A FUTURE OF US.

between A and Z

friendship remains for D and C
with the balance of power shifted
new life into the mixture has come
with happiness to be gifted

though it was just at tips of fingers
there is no rest for R and R
yet the aroma of love still lingers
baked goodness dripping from a star

T partially consumed by S
J nearly done in by K
alphabet of love failures
on the heart doth heavily weigh

cell turned against itself
to destroy from inside out
love’s loss it was that turned the switch
research will prove, no doubt

overwhelmed by grief of loss
sleep tossed from night to day
time would turn quickly for one
the other later would have to pay

T swept up by love of M
who proved to be the one
J dangles without letter to come
match step-for-step life’s fun

blizzard flakes of besotted love
fall from heaven and blanket ground
obstructed view by clouds above
storms continuing to surround

waiting for love in stormy weather
swirling snowflakes strike the cheek
‘til love returns and makes life better
wait, a new year starts this week

My Broken Love Story

To be loved is to wish on a star , Like a wolf to the moon I cry for it with no answer , When the nights are cold I am alone , like that of a flower that has no home, I was cut from my family tree to learn on my own, And when I thought I was loved I soon found I was wrong ,for the girl I so cherished was never alone ,when I was away working the day , she was at home with another man all alone, soon I found out all the loved I had , was all a image she put in my head , and to hurt me once more with a passion of fire , she took away my son from this life to another , through time has passed by one relationship to another , Still alone and so cold I feel like a shadow, always one step behind all the others , and though I keep trying to find just one girl , to Love me for me and to be loved in return , through these words I becone for one to arrive , and let me show you a love that's no lie. . . . .
