The Pecan Tree

The Pecan Tree

In a tiny town in Texas, a soldier and his wife
Sat beneath a tree of pecans, talked about their future life.
What the tree heard touched her deeply, deeply down inside her heart,
Learning soon this young couple would sadly have to part.

She drove him to the airport and watched his plane fly away.
Then she wept beneath the pecan on this endless autumn day.
His letters from the battlefield she read beneath the tree.
When the fruit is on the ground again he'll be coming back to me.

She waited by the window in a long white flannel gown,
Watched the dancing snowflakes gently fall upon the ground.
The tree outside the window cold wind bending her naked boughs
Both were waiting for the springtime and new life to arouse.

She waited in the garden, planting tiny seeds.
The robin and the sparrow sang to fill her empty need.
The tree in chartreuse budlings listened to the song.
She wanted this to swiftly pass, the tree this time prolong.

She waited in the summertime turning golden from the sun,
Thinking of her certain someone and things together they had done.
The tree in emerald splendor nursed its scion
As it's jaded foliage cast long shadows in the sun.

She waited in the evening beneath the harvest moon,
Her happy knowing he'd surely be home soon.
The tree bent low in heavy fruit ready soon to fall
Sighed, anticipating when again it would stand tall.

She waited softly humming. Then there came the tragic news
Of a firefight near the ocean, her lover's life did lose.
In the garden, almost midnight twinkling stars shone above,
The tree wept her pecans with the maiden's lament love.

Despair gripped the garden. It was a maddening sight to see.
In the moonlight, teardrops glistening she chopped down the pecan tree.
When they found her in the morning upon the tree she lay her head.
The tree and the maiden, still and cold in crimson red.

My Proof

Take my hand
And I will show you happiness
Walk with me
And you will find peace

Put your trust in me
And I will never fail you
Listen to my plea
And you will see my passion

Permit me to stay
And I will never leave your side
Allow me to hold you everyday
And you will find protection

Grant me to adore you wonderfully
And you will know my devotion
Let me love you tenderly
And I will give you the greatest love

'Never Give all the Heart'

'Never Give all the Heart'

Never give all the heart, for love
Will hardly seem worth thinking of
To Passionet women if it seem
That it fades out from kiss to kisss;
For everything that's lovely is
But a brief,dreamy,kind delight.
O never give the heart outright,
For they, for all smooth lips can say,
Have given their hearts up to play.
And who could play it well enough
If deaf and dumb and blind with love?
He that made this knows all the cost,
For he gave all his heart and lost.

Ecstasy in Harmony

Feeling your breath on my skin
Temptation is burning within

Every touch you make
Feeds this desire I want to partake

You gently lay me down,
To floor falls my gown

My naked body before your eyes,
I begin to feel the heat rise.

Aiming at all my sensual spots,
The focus is sure to make me hot.

Upon my breasts your lips find land,
I pull you closer with every demand

As my nipples harden with your tongue tease
Causes me to beg for more please!

The pleasure so intense, it’s a dizzy mood,
As my head spins, gaining altitude

I’ve lost all control, and need you now
Love me, show me how.

I feel you enter into the warm wetness you’ve created,
Our movements in sync, for this is the moment we’ve waited

I pull you deep within, firmly held tight inside,
Such a pleasure cannot be denied

I feel myself beginning to let go,
An explosion of satisfaction is about to blow

I hold on, and pull you closer yet,
Till finally both our gratifications are met.

Leaving our bodies shaking and weak
We lay together content, no need to speak.

The First Date

she couldn't wait to meet him
thirty more minutes to go.
the snow is coming down now
the traffic doesn't flow.

she thinks, how will I greet him?
a handshake, a hug or a kiss?
she likes his morals and values
and her sense of humor is just like his.

she gets to the place of the meeting
no, his car is not there.
He also drove over an hour
just to meet up with her.

This must be him now
parking right next to her,
he rolls down the window,
her too.

they talk back and forth for a bit
then he gets out of the car.
she'll gets out as well, a little timid
they walk to the coffee bar.

once they started talking
they discovered,
there is no lack of things to say,
they are comfortable with each other.

a romantic Italian restaurant,
is their choice to have a bite.
no other guests around,
everything feels just right.

they drive back to her car together,
she doesn't want him to leave,
they really seem to hit it off
its almost too good to believe.

the time has come to say goodbye,
he asks: could I get a hug?
she complies, still somewhat shy
he gives her a little kiss.

they both drive off in different directions,
she smiles as she thinks of him,
she hopes he too felt the connection
and wants to see her again.

She listens

She stands and listens to the wind
sing a tune across time and space
the gentle throb of a lonely ache
she listens to his beating heart

She stands and sings to the wind
a quiet song about space and time
the ebb and flow of a restless soul
she speaks to his anxious mind

You

you came into my life like the knight in my dreams
but were are you now are you sleeping?
hummingbird like kisses passionate touch
I met you in another life long ago
the life paths we written are entwined
your smiling eyes your breath so sweet
I miss you when I am not there
strong emotions longing desire
your understanding your laugh and your kindness
my life it woke up my sight is clear
the feeling inside me is a longing for you
I render my being without any fear.

Come Hither To Me

Come hither to me
and our passions will rise
as the sea
builds and swells
within itself.

And our spasms will crest
as we ride each new wave
and soon will forget
that there were ever
any other names........
or faces
To those of the past
who abused the delicacy of our feelings
and cared not enough to make it last
nor valued what was to be enjoyed
not exploited,
what was meant to be a gift
not a demand

Come hither to me
cause I understand
what it is you have to give
and that is all
I ask
to have.

Good Morning Love

Good morning Love,
Can I watch the sun rise in your eyes
Catch an early morning bike ride
with you by my side.

A tender touch, a wink
and the words
I need you so very much
to fly to places in my mind
beyond the daily rush,
....and bustle
which will soon bring my focus
to an earthy plane.

The sky so many different shades of blue
the autumn trees displaying their varied hue
could be so easily missed,
if it weren't for loving you,
...so very much
