POUR THE WINE OF YOURSELF
INTO MY LOVING CUP
FILL ME WITH LOVE
AS ONLY YOU CAN DO
POUR OUT YOUR KISS
FRESH AS COOL STRAWBERRIES
FILL MY THIRSTY LIPS
AS ONLY YOU CAN DO
POUR OUT YOURSELF
LET MY HEART CONTAIN YOU
CUPS MADE FOR FILLING
LOVES WINE AND STRAWBERRY

There on the dance floor
people were moving all around
same old same old sound
just standing looking
nothing happening
what in the world are doing
but suddenly burst into the night
head on coming right this way
she looked determined
as she tangoed across the floor
suddenly everything was bright
as we caught on tight
she was a mystery
came from nowhere
she loved the tango
and loved to dance
then at midnight
she vanished on me
what is world is going on

LOVE IS A STRANGER
IN THE DARK
JUST SMELL HER PERFUME
TAKE LOOK AT HER
ARE YOU INTERESTED
YES OR NO
DEPENDING ON YOUR ACTIONS
ITS STOP OR GO
LOVE IS A STRANGER
TAKE HER BY THE HAND
HOLD HER AS THE MUSIC
STARTS TO PLAY
TWO BODIES TOGETHER
UNDERNEATH A STARRY SKY
DANCING EYE TO EYE
LOVE WAS A STRANGER

Misunderstood
was the plan
of God to man
misunderstood
the work
of Christ to all
if we could see
he stepped
into our place
said forgive them
i will pay the debt
if we could see
he suffered bled and died
not for himself at all
but for you and me
true true
this is all true
great is the love
he has for me and you
misunderstood
misunderstood
dont let him stay
misunderstood

Love are the diamonds
that make up her crown
kindness and grace
make up her gown
character crystal
high quality too
precious the woman
of sapphire blue
deep thoughts
inside her curl
as precious
as pearl
a woman to seek
a woman to find
treasure in opal
loving and kind

eyes have mystery
eyes have charm
something about them
can disarm
light up the sky
with sun for a smile
eyes are the ocean
welcoming you in
dive into her eyes
so intoxicating
deep is her hue
sparkling as a star
eyes hypnotise us
eyes conquer heros
who can resist her
eyes so made of pearl

vision of the orient
she comes in shades of night
heart of a thousand pieces
lay before your sight
oriental frame of jade
soft as summer rain
hair of silk
spun in black
dressed in lillies
petal white
vision lingers
in the night
unspoken words
run from her soul
and soothe
lips as honey
delicious there
eyes hold the
world to ransom

A damsel in distress is just,
A female friend in need.
I shouldn't but I felt I must,
Mount up my trusty steed.
I'd only met her once before,
We'd chatted and we'd talked.
Of course I wanted something more,
But that move had been balked.
Seems she'd been in an accident,
Her foot needed repair,
So to the hospital she went,
To seek a surgeon's care.
The scalpel and the needles too,
Had left her in such pain.
That it would be a month or two,
Ere she could walk again.
Her roommate and her teenaged son,
Had been no help at all.
Clean dishes they had left her none,
Cat litter in the hall.
So armed with lunch for two I went,
To lend a helping hand.
Don't mind the hours that I spent,
They're merely grains of sand.
With dishes done I warmed our meal,
We ate it, ev'ry bite.
She said my cooking was ideal,
My pride was shining bright.
The hallway too, we tackled then,
It was an awful mess.
I didn't mind, I'd do again,
To help to ease her stress.
I'm hoping her recovery,
Will be complete and swift.
She said next time she'll come to me,
That gave me quite a lift.
So now I wait for her to call,
To say she's coming here.
I'm hoping in my bed she'll fall,
A thought I hold so dear.
My rusting armor has its flaws,
My motives so impure.
That gratitude may give her cause,
My lonliness to cure.

Can you hear it?
First a few, then more.
The song of the sky on a warm summer evening.
Your standing there, the air is a bit cooler now.
It was warm, so warm today
But the night is coming, the sun beggining to set
Your hair moves in the breeze
I see your eyes as you look into the distant sky
They sparkle, so beautiful
How can I not smile?
It comes now, just soft
It continues and will through the night
But the nights not here yet, the sun just going down
Take my hand and walk with me
Out into the grass that drinks from the sky
The rain falls soft
It is our music, our song
Take my hand, please
Come with me, into the air
As the pedals of water fall from the sky
The beauty as the water caresses your face
Your eyes, they smile at me
Our body's getting soaked as you take my hand
Mine in yours and my other on your side
Yours in mine and the other on my shoulder
Sway with me
Sing with me
So please, in your beauty that shines throught the falling rain
Please,
May I have this dance?

One can never quite predict,
In matters of the heart,
At what point one should full commit,
When does the loving start?
If you lay it out too soon,
You run an awful risk,
Of singing love's unhappy tune,
A sad and aching twist.
But then, if you drag your feet,
There is an outside chance,
That you'll lose your love so sweet,
And miss out on romance.
I've heard it said that timing is,
Nine tenths of ev'rything.
But what time's right, this I quiz,
When should the lovebird sing?
Guess the thing is just to know,
Your partner down so deep,
Wait for certain signs to show,
Til then your heart just keep.
