Jesus (so misunderstood)
Misunderstood
was the plan
of God to man
misunderstood
the work
of Christ to all
if we could see
he stepped
into our place
said forgive them
i will pay the debt
if we could see
he suffered bled and died
not for himself at all
but for you and me
true true
this is all true
great is the love
he has for me and you
misunderstood
misunderstood
dont let him stay
misunderstood

Misunderstood was the plan of God to man can be read in at least two ways. In one way, God is loving; in the other, not so. The remainder of your poem makes a case for one. Nicely done.
