Heart surgery

I listen to my poor heart beat,
Sad and slow,
It grows so weak,
Like it just wants to give up,
Alone and tired,
It's had enough,
Seems a transplants what I need,
A cold and hard unfeeling machine,
With circuits wires and batteries,
I'm seeking the toughest that they make,
I need a heart that will not break...

I Am Here

Embedded image from another site

I once had life
All around
The hustle and bustle
Crying and laughter
Love peered out
From my windows
And there
On my manicured lawn
They sat
With their picnic
Sharing
All joining in
And then
Slowly
They moved
I fell into disrepair
And now
I sit
Lonely
Neglected
Sad

zombies

My sweat and tears drop onto the page,
Even as the lights flicker on me in center stage.
I hear their curdling moans all around,
They slowly approach from all sides based on the volume of sound.
So much what I wanted to do that I am now can't do,
Watching as they breakthrough the light's realm that I best knew.
Their fleshy arms extend into my personal space,
Then the lights darken and then return to find me gone without a trace.

The Day Innocence Died

Innocence was killed today by modern society,
And no one mourned its passing,
though the media covered it around the clock,

Because the children that were the last the last to see it
Never realized what was missing,
And had no idea they should all be in shock

For war is not fought for honor or glory,
And the winner claims a hollow victory,
As any boy of ten will say, absolutely,
This was the theme from Call of Duty

Pornography has changed the way young men see,
And young women are sold the fantasy,
Of the perfect man, the only one for them,
Illusions shattered by continuum.

Courtship and Romance both skipped town,
And Game and Rules both came down,
In bars and clubs and they ran rife,
And made a mockery of love life.

Now money and beauty are the only currency,
And everyday morals clash with liberty,
Is there no more room for decency?
Now Innocence has been killed by society.

There can be only One!

An ancient time from a distant past long forgotten,

Where a race of guardians governed the Universe,

A Rebellion shook the very fabric of law and order,

Began from heaven and followed through the modern era,

Brothers against brothers became enemies,

Immortals known as Angels and Demons,

Disobedient to the Lord's commandment,

They became the 'fallen' outcast into another world,

One third of their race turned against their Master,

And followed their fearless leader,

His name unholy in the calling,

Father of lies and Lord of flies,

The Serpent and Dragon,

The morning star and Istar,

The fallen Archangel and Devil,

The one and the only Lusifir!

You Don’t Know

Behind this face, a fractured life
Of bits and pieces colliding
Not one makes sense on it’s own
Put together they create an illusion

A piece scattered here and there
There’s a chance you might identify
Only because it has touched your life
It gives it some semblance of meaning

Think what you will, think what you may
In the end the meaning is different
You can’t understand, nor ever you will
Unless in my shoes you’re walking

The Sheol

Embedded image from another site

Lover
yes the love you evoke
the heart you wove
spirit you broke

A shade am I
seek the Witch of Endor

In Sheol
my soul
yes my love
darkness unfolds

In Sheol
one weepeth dust
wind blows cold

feeling is lost
struggle to breathe
seas are tossed

Was I dead my lover
yes I believe so
the shroud my cover

You arose from death
shined love upon me
I am resurrected
blind but now I see...

About this poem:
Inspired by the Hebrew concept of the Sheol where the dead go and exist as shades...The Hebrew King Saul sought the Witch of Endor to summon the shade or spirit of the prophet Samuel..

darkness

The sun sets in the evening sky
The dying blue sun kissed haze
Darkness approches
Creeping slowly in
His dark cape
Blanketing the
Evening sky
Envelopes
Subdues
Deathly darkness
Engulffs all
Taken beneath his darkend cape
The still ness dark the sky still
Motionless
The blues sunlite sky now blackened
Darkness as decended
Death as knocked
The blue sky has gone

Zonbi

Here the dead walk
All night long they roam
To them belongs the whole city
Beware my friend, stay out of sight
For to them, you will become their dinner
