The princess of Cafe Castle

Many a poet had written
of her beauty..
She was not unaware of
the exotic whispers that
blew through the snow
covered forests that boardered
the mighty castle
Yet, somehow, the words of
the poets fell deft on her lonely
heart though they drew their
words from the blinding gems
of sense and fragile human
passion
On dreary nights her fingertips
would gently carress a wine filled
golden golblet as she gazed across
a lonely landscape from her high and
lofty terrace
Only the mere flickering of candlelight
would illumine her royal quarters and
she would fondle the fringes of the castle
odrapery dreaming the dream of love
She only met him once on the field of
battle yet for those few moments their
eyes locked in time with a promise of love
safeguarded by an illusive wind
She would attend the royal banquets
She would dally with the court jesters
and even throw them the shadows of
an impossible hope
How long would the days drag on?
What were the chances that his hands
would lift her sleek form as a captured
doe and watch her lay limp in surendered
passion
The night had died
Her hope was dying as
she lay naked in tears
and black pearls
It was only that small
scuffled sound that brought
a tinge of hopefullness to
a darkened heart
A lone figure stood at the
entrance to her chamber..
It was him..
Silently, he approached
her bed letting drop his iron
helment
Her glazed eyes closed with
hot tears..
He fell upon her surendered
soul as a warrior takes the spoil
He was..The golden knight**

FG3.....Rise Of The Groth...(dreamweaver,prelude)

At the bottom of the deepest sea, or, higher than high,
On a mountain top……Near the roof of the world, where only dragons fly,
In our dreams, he is there….. He wanders through them,
chooses, one or two…… Here and there,
a couple at a time, as, and when, it pleases him to,
he takes them, as is his will to do.
though with a touch, like a feather, so light,
sweetness of mind, in thought, of a kind,
intangible colours, softly flowing, of honest hue.
A magical aura, around him, gently glowing,
a genuine affection, true hope growing.
Cosseted, fondly nurtured, supported,
coaxed and persuaded,
like a beautiful flower, with wisdom watered,
all gathered, subtly altered,
cared for, sorted.
Then woven…… With threads so mysterious, included of all life’s essence,
soft incandescence,
finally, making sure, everything is golden and of benevolence.

He summons the beast with an urgent thought,
The thought hovers for an instant, before on a mountain breeze being caught,
arriving almost at once, proudly, always ready in an hour of need,
Vision of majesty……Dreamweaver’s steed!

In a single bound, leaping, then…..With legs, neck gripped,
his master, on huge back did sit,
Urgently… The harness was pulled……..
"Upward....Speedily onward……." The sky beckoned,
lightning flickered……
The route to be taken, through darkened, stormy weather,
by instinct reckoned.
Then an awesome demonstration of power, as flapping and beating.…. Caused……Draft for flight,
For the long journey into night, thoughts of two destinies meeting.
With enormous wings of bone and leather,
he, masters beast, loyal as ever,
Of a sudden, is borne aloft!
Look up….
See underbelly, green, yellow, soft!
Huge talons, twin crystals clutched,
never before by mortals, seen nor touched,
flaring nostrils, Fiery breath,
lighting the way, by glowing coal red eye,
that does intelligent strength imply.
Course charted now...... From this dimension to the next!

Was It really you

Was it you I saw
across the dance floor
My heart began to swirl
I felt like a little girl
I was sure it was you
once I saw your smile
I didn't notice her standing by you
My heart grew heavy
As I turned away
I though our love
Would last forever and a day
I went to dance with my date
There you were standing next to me
You asked if you could have this dance
My date turned and walked away
As we danced
I could smell my favorite cologne
You whispered in my ear all will be ok
Then you gently kissed my lips
as you moved away
I wanted you to stay
tears streamed down my face as I watched you walk away
I was so happy to have this last dance with you
I prayed you would be at our sons wedding
If only in spirt
the Lord knows
you made my day
On this our sons
wedding day
Xx

To Tell Such A Tale

Fear lies low,
As Love sighs upon us, as we gaze from atop the deep cliff,
"The water doesn't look that shallow",
For Darkness gave us wings as we soar for the sweet taste,
Inviting us down below,-
Such a sad thought condemned us to dream,
Punishing us to carry on,
Only left to ponder and dwell,
And to tell such a tale,--

Mischief Rules!,
Until one day Mischief met Compassion,
Yet, hard to understand each other,
Love stepped in, and decided to show the way,-
"What is now, here we both must understand",
"You're the ground that stays put",
I'm the sun, begins, shines, then starts to fade!".--

Love cries,
Watching the army led by Sorrow,
Face to face to meet Happiness,
On a once tropical, now wasted desert ground,-
Fear swept high,
Without knowing the knowledge that is kept secretly by Tomorrow,
Tomorrow steps to the side,
While it all goes down,--

During the battle of wits to win the war of emotions,
Sorrow and Happiness met at the war table,
"For the total of what we've lost",
"We must unite, and learn to rebuild again",-
Today said, "I think I know the answer?"
"What Yesterday lost, I know now!"-
"Tomorrow only keeps it a secret, leaving it up to you to decide",
"Is this a new beginning; or, will this be the end?"--

Life watches this through its mind's eye,
As the coldness of night falls upon us,
And we all know that the night is a gift from Darkness and Fear who walk hand and hand,
Only the reflection of the moon guides us by light,-
And just to glide quietly by shadow,
The orb quickly creeps away,
Of what Yesterday learned then, was given Today, yet still, kept a secret by Tomorrow,
And Love just smiled,--

About this poem:
This one was written 11-27-2021, just a few minutes before I wrote I Am No One. I'd consider this abstract freestyle writing. An introduction out of nothing and a conclusion into something, perhaps? Just to start off with some words and see where I can go with them! Although this is nothing but a rough draft, I hope you enjoy the meaningless, off the wall storyline! lol

while on the walls the clocks read noon

while on the walls the clocks read noon
of on while After that's aching Come I'm in as pain. true. it
in a box, and leave it behind a nice ox And I'd rather be grey,
but I can't speak for you. and then eat it and get the pox Grey
souls, Grey shoes I've even got grey blues. Finish the day with bagels
and lox We shouted "Turn down the music. It's too damn loud!" but
that and forgetteth where exactly i put it

TIME

The present -
tomorrow's past
yesterday's future
Is the past an illusion?
Is the future a fantasy?
What is Time?
Our scientists cannot say
If there are no events
to measure it
will Time exist?
Did it have a beginning?
Will it have an ending?
What is Time?

Dreams

I want to live in a big house
Having central air conditioning
A fridge full of food
A patio where I cook steaks
A dog named Banjo who adores me
A wife and son who love me
An abundant writing and acting career to pay for it all
Deer who come to my back yard to eat corn
Squirrels who come for corn too
A lake where I can ski and jet ski
Fish I can feed bread by hand
A big screen tv to play my video games on
Another big screen tv to watch movies and shows
I would be healthy
I would be strong
I would be happy
I would not be alone
Everyone would have the same
Everyone would be loved and no one would be alone
This is my dream

A Little Silence

Embedded image from another site

Yesterday is just a memory a reflection of what tomorrow could bring
but its really up to us to want a change
If with just one voice or a group of words could bring salvation to our lonely world
I would write a poem every single day
With words of hope that fill us with joy and brings laughter to little girls and boys
But its obvious something is incorrect
Because in all of our hearts something is torn apart or missing a piece somewhere in the dark
And sometimes instead of love we feel the absence
We want our rights to bear our arms in fear that someone wants to cause us harm
But maybe we can talk it over
At a united table of the human race I'm sure we all have much to say
Without fear driving and making us feel nervous
So what if we could set aside our difference that make worlds collide
Could we write a new day in history
Without mans written policies, religions, or hypocrisy
No holy books to predetermine our destiny
Build a spaceship to fill with all our weapons and send them to oblivion
Then plant a garden of flowers for peace
Because if thats the case mine is parked outside its cherry black doors are suicide
And its powered by all of our dream
I hope its not the death of me that one day finally sets me free
I want to see this through to the end
No more wars and no more pain no more senseless digging graves
A world full of friends we just haven't met
But this is just our nature its who we are one hand brings us honor the other is scarred
As we continue trying to make sense
One eye looks for beauty the other looks away, but our hearts are reflected by what our tongues say
So maybe we should learn to enjoy a little silence

~Just Imagine~

walking
imaginary thought of imaginary time
in an imaginary place with an imaginary strut
on an imaginary sidewalk seeing imaginary pigeons
on an imaginary town clock with an imaginary bell
dinging imaginary tones into the imaginary air
over the imaginary town letting the imaginary people
know it's imaginary tea in their imaginary homes
with their imaginary friends over for an imaginary visit
during their imaginary day in their imaginary life
with their imaginary thoughts
of imagining~

Sleeping Sorry no face ...a strange tale...

A day with Sleeping Sorry no face... Saying i'm Sorry is just not me!
For nothing risked is nothing gained,
A game I just have to play,
To win your maiden heart,
Or lose and try somewhere else,
Life goes on,
They always say,
To that I toast,
And be on my way.
I pass downtown of the city,
Along the blocks and city streets,
I cross the shops and a small town,
Through the lanes that is going all the way down.
I make it across the ravine and valley,
Into open spaces of bluegrass county,
And in the middle of nowhere,
In the field of corns I think I am lost.
The scarecrow is there to keep me company,
For how long till the day is gone...
Not a soul beside me and I am shaking to the bones,
The chill has settle and here to stay.
As night approaches my eyes are amazed,
By the glory of heavean above dancing,
This is the land on which the sky sit,
And my mind and body is ready to sleep,
Tomorrow will bring a better fortune,
Life goes on,
They always say,
Today has been an adventure for me,
So far I face no known danger,
Like a sly seeking twister,
Or even worst still ...Count Dracula's sister!
My imagination is running free again,
Sleep tight under the stars and an Owl's lullaby....
A new world opens to me when dreams are roaming free.....Zzz...

Oh by the way...
If you're reading this tale of Sleeping Sorry no face,
I'm sorry this is the End,
Good night and sweet scary dream...Zzzz...
