IN TIME

In seconds we freeze
We listen, we wait, what will it take?
In minutes we ponder
We think and we reason, who are we pleasing
In hours we dream
Emotions in motion is our creation
In days we forget
To ponder to reason to create
In years we remember
To listen to wait and what it will take!

faded heart

in the moonlight i see ur smile
at sunset i hear ur voice whispering.
the scars u created in a moment
ache with every thought of u.
time has heal but the shadows
u left me with haunt my memories.
ur kiss ur touch ur love
lost in memory.
ive been given strength thru my trials
but i am weak without the light in my heart.
im now surrounded by the darkness in my heart,
looking for new love, a new light.
i forgive u but im ready to start anew
so thank you.
i kno my faded heart will heal and glow.

Apology

It's not easy to judge yourself
It's not right to judge another,
Things we say always come out
But how will it be uncovered.

I found her here,wondering about
I wanted to show that I cared,
Things were going absolutely great
I wasn't worried or even scared.

But the road can be a mystery
It's not always easy to see,
I just had my heart ripped out
And all because of a tease.

So now inside I am bleeding
My happiness has turned to shame,
Though she may be quick tempered
I am still the one to blame.

Pride is something very special
It's not a thing to laugh about,
I almost want to start crying
For leaving her with doubt.

So off I may go to ponder
Will I ever be forgiven?
I hope to hear your voice again
If not I'll just relive it.

Forgiveness

Forgiveness

Forgiveness is a gift we receive,
And freely we must give it too,
To prove to Him we do believe,
Forgiveness also works for you.

When a friend stabs your back,
Do not turn and choose to attack;
But smile and take up his slack
To show the faith you do not lack.

When you forgive it then returns,
For your heart is then lightened
While given the freedom it yearns
And your mind is then enlightened.

But someone you may overlook
Is one you may be least kind to;
For mistaken paths that you took;
The one you forgive must be you.

FRIENDLY INTENSIONS

Friendly intensions miss understood as arrogance stood. Friendly intensions miss understood, accusations turn into wood, burning anger of those that could.

here i am

Well here I am no longer a boy but now am a man.

I look upon the water tower how beautiful is its sight?,

Looking over me and the years called the path of life

Soon ill be leaving as she watches drive

When I take a look back she will start to cry,

Like the tower that sprung a leak, one last visit I will shrilly sneak

Now that I'm older I won't expect that was left last.

If I could I really would be back in the past

Years go by with out a reply,so I wonder where you gone.

So when I come back why dos this not seem so wrong?. Well here I am

Back where I began, there you are saying I love you,how I wish I never ran

forgive me

Can I be forgiven or should I be forgotten I am not perfect but I am remorseful for things that need to be forgiven
I am wise to apologize for my mistakes caused because karma could come back 10 times worse than your wrongdoings
I apologize for not always being understanding for not taking the time to address a problem versus avoiding it I apologize
How can I focus on being the best in whatever I do if I can apologize and be forgiven for any wrong that I have done I apologize

WILLINGNESS

November 29, 2010

A word we might say or read on the page,
often passes through us undigested.
The lack of it poisons relationships,
for without it our hearts aren’t invested.

Resentments, old baggage, lingering fear;
the head and ego do battle once more.
Our unresolved issues keep us adrift.
We see the prize, but we’re miles from shore.

One day we all run out of excuses...
The fact is, we each must suffer to grow.
It’s truth and pain that brings us to our knees,
face to face with ourselves...then our soul.

For all the times we neglected by choice,
answers intended to show us the way;
might we find in silence, stillness and prayer.
a measure of strength and wisdom each day.

When anger no longer rules our emotions,
WILLINGNESS can then merge with honesty.
The language of surrender and freedom
might become one’s path to serenity.

"Careless Whispers"

Slander is slander! Have you ever let your tongue wander? Umm,I wonder.
Writing untruths onto paper can be very undesirable, especially when you turn your pen to liable.

The smallest of untrue words can eat and grow, destroying the purest of souls. Lies about another can be passed from one to the other adding or subtracting as they deliver their slack.

Self gratification is all that they seek, lie's spewing from their mouths as soon as they speak. "All this in today's civilization",I beg to question, especially when defamation of character enters the equation.

When as yet you hear of another being slandered,be it a stranger or even your brother, just take the time to ponder of the undue damage it could conjure. Are we capable of doing so? Umm,I wonder!

About this poem:
I went through a very bad experience of lies being spread about me because of someone else's jealousy. When such lies are spread they can stick into the mindset of certain individuals,(usually the narrow minded). I have myself been guilty of half believing rumours. But through this bad experience I have learnt not to take things on face value. I hope my poem will help us as individuals not to take too much notice of rumours, until they are factually proven.
