ANGER DOES NOT PAY

anger is red danger. but a familliar stranger. so it came as no. at the times i have paid the price. more than thrice. before becoming very wise. the judge said. i should have been put in a cage. if one considers all the damage. i brought on whit my rage. i knew. my anger was unreasonable. my anger was invincible. my anger was uncontrollable. but.....

charitable giving

let's take off all our clothes
i can't deny that it might be taxing
to find ourselves in a new repose
an internal audit could be relaxing

to create an eternal charitable trust
i have on my person a beneficent donation
we'll fill each others forms with lust
on which to build a charitable foundation

give generations to come something inheritable
i've always wanted to be your altruist
we can show care and passion so charitable
to give of ourselves and in turn be kissed

my desire for you is to be philanthropic
it may not be heavenly but it sure is living
some pillow talk is always a hot topic
loving desire whispers our charitable giving

"It's No Fun To Have A Cold"

It's no fun to have a cold,
It makes you feel all sick and old,
You itch, and sneeze, and cough and weeze,
And scratch your nose, like it's got fleas,

An acheing rumbles in your head,
And all you want to do, is stay in bed,
With tissues scattered all around,
You put your cold feet on the ground,

It's time to rise and take your pills,
So that you do not get the chills,
And warm a big hot bowl soup,
It's oh so good for you, that goup,

And when you're done with all your care,
You'll take your favorite teddy bear,
And cozy up between the sheets,
And maybe have a couple treats,

You'll watch your favorite show on air,
with popcorn falling everywhere,
And when your eyes are almost closed,
Enwrapped in blankets I suppose,

The Sandman cometh' wand in hand,
He'll take you to a distant land,
Where you'll be well again in fast,
And sickness, this shall be your last.

3AM

Wide awake it's 3 AM
insomnia, can't sleep again
movies playing, theater of mind
times long past, another life
haunted by so many memories
inside recalling ancient history
what was said, what I did
people and pets since I was a kid
brief and long lived interactions
who, what, why, and how they happened
things that shaped me when I was young
every picture framed and hung
sights, sounds, scents, stored sacrosanct
black and white or colored paints
wide awake, the stories speaking
Keeping me from resting, sleeping...

MATURITY.

A clock ticks, recording time never to return
Disappearing for ever, like photos that burn
Was time wasted, or are memories retained
Brining smiles, not tears representing rain

I recall as a child, everyone seemed old
In youth I was shy, not strong and bold
In Maturity I'm more confident, in control
Still feeling youthful, certainly never dull

Attitude is ours, to nurture and own
Comes with experience, of seeds sown
With many life options, we must decide
Hopefully we asked, for the wise to guide

Final choices are ours... it just has to be
Never blame others, into the future see
Being brave at times, can make us strong
As admitting in hindsight, if we was wrong

Learning from mistakes, acceptable in life
Whether good or bad, can lead to strife
Character building, inner strength can grow
Good people are important, you'll by now know

Some you can trust, others you must not
Never regret the process, join every dot
Those who make you sad, will pull you down
Remember smiles are important, not a frown

So as you mature, there are experiences leant
Emotional bridges, can so easily be burnt
Find what makes you happy, enjoy each day
Age isn't so bad, pick choices wisely ...
or health will pay.

Move With Grace

Even though of age
you are you move
with elegance
and grace.
You put a smile
on everyone's
FACE.
Your music flows
in and through
people making
them want to
move and grove
to the beat.
Now it is your
turn to dance
to your music

Blind

are the skies blue do the birds chirp
is this life true or did I go berserk
have I lost my mind is everything fine
am I ahead or am I behind
I cannot see straight what happened to my eyes
did I sleep late is everything a lie
what is the truth what can it be
what is the truth I can't quite see
did everything change right before my eyes
is this the truth or just some more lies

survived

I survive the worst and blew it all away,
for i lived when they thought i was to die.
i fought against all odds, and strggled for my life.
while they just stood back and watched as though there was no use.
i showed them not everything ends this way.
as i'm here today.

I Gasp

As my world falls
down around me and
my heart breaks
from the wait.
I gasp to take a
breathe but no air
do i receive.
Gasping for my life
receiving for my
foothold just
hoping to last
another hour
another day
another week
BEGGING
PLEADING
Lord just
a little longer.

Covid Shot

Got my shot yesterday at 9:30 in the morning
Was alright till last night
When I kept waking up
Over and over again
Now my knee hurts
I'm tired
My head hurts a lot
But hopefully I can get over these symptoms by Monday
Then on June 10 I can get rid of the mask at work
