Dragon Slayer

For months we traversed the
high seas, and scorned the
mountainous waves
The sails were strong and I
sheathed my sword staring in
defiance at this tempestuous
sea
The crew grunted in sweat and
muscle tending the oars
The Viking island of Dugal had
never been breached by the
foot of mortal man
Still, she remained captured
in that dank and insurpassable
cave by the hellish dragon, and
I steeled my resolve to free her
We entered the straight of Canfire
on the 23 of May, and the trecherous
clifts forbode certain doom with
errie echo's through the jagged
sentinals of black rock guarding
the Canfire shore
This maidens trust burned in my
soul and my loyal crew have sworn
on pang of death to breach the gates
of hell to do battle with the beast
We approached the vast black hole
of the caves entrance in the deathly
fog of morning
Screams echoed from deep within
the caves interior and we rushed
headlong into the mouth of this
hollow pit of terror and my sword
lighted as a crimson fire and I
rushed toward the firey roars and
volcanic smoke that issued from the
mouth of that massive and thrashing beast
All night we fought the beast
Half the crew was devoured by the
whipping tail and razor teeth
Yet in the green swirling fog I slashed
with my last ounce of energy and
scooped up the maiden quivering
within the clef of a rock
I carried her to the ship and dressed
her in tiger pelts and adorned her
neck with stolen jewels
Their was nothing left to do but
incline on the ships deck and roll
in the sweat of desire as a silvery
moon sat like a white ghost on
a black sea-

The Note for Love.

She walks alone through the town,
With her head hanging down.
Hanging down in shame,
She wants to change and not want to be the same.
All kind of thoughts travel through her mind,
Not knowing if she’s gonna have to leave this love behind.
She carry’s on walking to her stop,
Attempting to pull herself up from this drop.
When finally on her way to a city,
With her body and feelings filled with pity.
She rummages around in her bag,
Looking for a piece of paper of even a tag.
To write down the way she feels about you,
Carefully thinking everything through.
She sits and draws on one side,
Hoping that her relationship doesn’t subside.
On the other side she writes her little note,
As she feels the emotion in the back of her throat.
As the journey comes to an end,
Off a bus she starts to descend.
She walks to his stop to wait in dismay,
As she puts the little note safely away.
She sits and waits in a world of her own,
Where she walks a path all alone.
Finally she sees him walking towards her,
The only person she will love forever.
All she wanted to say to him was that,
She was sorry whilst they had their chat.
But she couldn’t find the right words to say,
What she wanted and in the right way.
Before she knew its they were back where they started,
Still not knowing if she was gonna be left broken hearted.
As he waited to leave and for people to unload,
He gave her a kiss which to her heart it flowed.
Then she remembered what she had done,
Something to give her loved one.
She slipped the note into his hand,
Just as she had originally planned.
She waits as he boarded his form of travel,
Watching as the note he started to unravel.
She stands as he reads what’s in the note,
Watching him read the true words she wrote.
As he looks over she holds every tear,
Knowing she only has minutes to spare.
She thinks is that where she should climb?
But just at that moment runs out of times.
The door start to shut before it pulls away,
Leaving her no choice but to stay.
She watches holding back the want to cry,
As through the glass they say their good-bye.
She slowly walks back to her stop,
Knowing that it is him she will never drop.
She boards her travel and heads back home,
Feeling a feeling that she was not alone.
On her way back with eyes that sting,
She remembers that one special thing.
She had cried many rivers and streams,
But she is glad to be loved by the man of her dreams.
She is in love with this one special Guy,
Now she sits in wait of his loving reply.

Eternal

I and Thou
You and Me,
Kaleidoscopic years
Recurring centuries...

You are Legend
In cosmic sea,
I swim to You
across eternity...

Having dreamed of You
seeking safe harbor,
And here You are
The One I exist for...

I see You now
beyond mist of fate,
My chosen One
Eternal soul mate...

Can't

I wish I could make you remember
Everything you use to feel
But.. I cant
I wish I had a chance to go back and show you my love
So you would know it was always very real
But... I cant

I wish you would say you still loved me
As much as you did back then
But... You cant
I wish I could be him, the new man thats holding you
I wish that could be me again
But... I cant

I wish I could erase my memories
And stop the tears falling from my eyes
But... I cant
I wish I could call you Princess
And watch your face light up with suprise
But... I cant

I wish you knew I meant the things Ive said
Like everytime I said you mean the world to me
But... You cant
I wish this whole in my heart would stop pouring blood
From this knife wound, it will forever bleed
But... It cant.

I wish I didnt have to see you with him.
I wish I didnt have to wonder how it was so easy
for you to leave me and move on
But... I cant
I wish I could blame you
for everything I did wrong
But... I cant

Loving you is like breathing
I want to stop
But... I cant

Joy full Drowning......

Its water around
Tried catching a glimpse of
that eternal land of gods......
and that envied canopy of natures love
but its water around, with endless boundaries....

Dipped deep, to see her ethereal beings
mesmerized by her creative brilliance
she kept me aloof in her depth
Oh!! Can't hold this tightening breath....
Pushed back to get that smelly air....

No sign of that land....that divine land...
Maa...the soul cried with daunting thoughts
With no other go, swimming further
Maa...Oh divine.. this voyage never ends....
Spirit, endless spirit pushed further....

Actionable body has shrugged
A non energetic divine wisdom
occuppies the restless space.
Further travel seems hopeless,
let it drown with hopes of hopeless....
Oh!! Ethereal beings enjoy this dinner
Under that endless sky
with smiling stars and curious moon......
Oh!! Ethereal Beings enjoy this dinner.....

If for woman

If you can find a man when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you …
If you can trust a man not to screw around (ever)
But make allowance for your doubting too;

If you can laugh and not be tired at laughing
at things that are not crude,
Or, being manic, can be brought to normal
by talk, and love, and even sometimes, food;

If you can bear to hear the truth well spoken
and face the consequences and the pain
Or, listen long to triumphs, and disasters
And treat those two imposters just the same.

If you can love a man who’s strong in mind and body
and loving him can let him still be free,
Or, watch him braiding hair of little children,
and hold them close, yet no perversion see.

If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve a man who makes a fire, and fights for what is right.
Or, being stopped by him from heading for disaster,
can turn and thank him for his courage and his strength.

If you can give a man the space to cook and iron
and never breathe a word about his skill,
And feel secure for ever in his presence
and trust his self-control will never fail.

If you can love a man who’s kind and gentle
Who sometimes fails, and isn’t always wise.
Or love a man with heart and soul and body
a man who’s touch and spirit always satisfies

If you can love with passion and abandon
and keep your virtue—nor lose the common touch;
If neither men nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much;

If you can forgive the crass unthoughtful moment
With understanding, grace and mercy from above
Yours is the Man and everything that's in him,
And - which is more - you'll be a Woman my love

with apologies to Rudyard Kipling

About this poem:
I wrote this poem in response to the question posed on the CS forum, 'What I want in a man', The author wrote: Am I asking too much? I want a man who:-

1. is mentally and physically strong;

2. who can braid a little girl's hair without perversion;

3. who can talk me out of my manic mood swings;

4. who can make me laugh without being crude;

5. who doesn't screw around, ever (no really I mean that);

6. who can make a fire and handle a weapon and swing a good punch;

7. who can put his foot down when I push him too far;

8. who can satisfy me physically;

9. who can talk about anything;

10. who can tell the truth and face the consequences;

11. who wouldn't dream of hitting a woman or a child;

12. who can cook and iron if he needs to;

13. who can be kind without being weak.

Wow, that's quite a list. Anybody fit the bill?

****

once, upon a time, in the past -
book of memory -
were white and colorless .
-
but the years passed, and disappeared, tantivy .
-
pages of memory book -
one by one, were filled, by bitter & sweet events .
-
but today -
the sweetest moments, being created, by reading, the words of the memory -book
-
memories, getting old -
but the beauty of old memories, colouring mysteriously, our present days .

“Matters of the Heart”

Chance we take
What’s distance to the heart?
Its excuses we make...

Matters of the heart
The look, the sound of your voice
Dreams of you right from the start..

Your warm tender voice
I close my eyes
I see your face, if I had but one choice....

Hmm..What warm, passionate eyes
Holding thoughts close to ones breast
Wonder at all the good byes...

My heart beats strong in my breast
Tender and yet wild is what I feel
This day is but one day, I wonder of the rest...

Are the days to be fantasies to feel?
In my mind and heart
I wonder if they could someday be real?..

As I lay in the field of green
Watch the clouds drift over head
Will my romantic thoughts ever been seen?

These things I wonder in my head
Smile and remember one thing
I can always write this all in a book instead...

Why?

Why don't you want to try,
Why do you want us all to cry?

Why don't you want to live,
What is it that you can't forgive?

Why don't you want to laught and smile,
What does it help to be dead and pale?

Why don't you understand,
Its wrong to take your life with your own hand?

Why do you want to panishe me,
Am I realy to your suffring the key?

Why don't you want us to care,
What is it that you fear?

I can't promise that I can stop your cry,
But I promise I will try.

However I can not do all the work for you,
But I can try and help you through.
