Seems like just yesterday, I wandered astray,
Caught in life's bittersweet journey, lost in disarray,
But lucks gentle hand intervened on a fateful day,
And there you were, my newfound heart's array.
In a crowded place, where strangers fill the air,
Your eyes thought they saw a spark so rare,
Senses heightened, the world faded away,
your words, to me spoke more than words should say.
With every exchange, a simple truth unfolded,
The immediate connection, relentlessly emboldened,
We're charting new territories, casting away doubt,
The undeniable pull, there's no turning back now.
Chance serendipity, destiny or fate
Our souls collided, time suspended in space,
A cosmic dance, an intoxicating trance,
Oh, that lucky meeting that bestowed our chance.
Together, we now dance on this tightrope of fate,
Bathed in the glow of love, forever we'll vibrate,
Oh, lingering serendipity, our hearts forever entwined,
Maybe testament to the beauty that destiny designed.

Sailing on smooth waters
Our spirits were content
Until we looked up to see
Angry rolling darkness ahead
Swirling it crept into our souls
Suffering with anxiety and fear
Day after day only blackness seen
Always praying for a light to appear
Suddenly pushing the dark swirl aside
Guiding us by a bright Rainbow light
As God promised many years ago
Was the Lighthouse of Eternal life

About this poem:
Update: For some reason they removed the picture off of here so cannot show it. But this poem was based on my sister-in-law's Pandemic painting she did. An ocean picture - 3 paneled - the far right calm sea with sunshine on the right and dark clouds creeping in on the left. The Middle panel dark swirling ocean waters and clouds - 3rd panel right side dark clouds and ocean but left side a rocky cliff with a beautiful lighthouse with a rainbow beam shining up through the clouds and the sun shining to the left. My sister-in-law painted the picture above the poem as her Pandemic project. She is an award winning artist.

In quiet of the night, my love, you softly doze,
Your head upon my shoulder, in peaceful repose.
As you breathe so gently, my simple joy is redefined
Our heartbeats together, my love, our bodies intertwined.
Sleep in my embrace, my dear
let every worry fade and disappear.
I find my sweetest ease dear, with your arm across my chest,
Sleeping in your embrace, my dear, I feel my soul refresh
moonbeams gently dance my love upon your skin,
I softly stroke your back, a touch so tender within.
In this moment, you're an angel, in peaceful slumber
As I hold you close, your dreams, my love, I'll always remember.
Sleep in my embrace, my dear
let every worry fade and disappear.
I find my sweetest ease dear, with your arm across my chest,
Sleeping in your embrace, my dear, I feel my soul refresh
In this quiet sanctuary, my love peaceful and sublime,
love's silent voice echoes on, as we drift on through time.
Forever in this moment, forever in your arms,
we'll dream together here my love, far from all the world's alarms.
Sleep in my embrace, my dear
let every worry fade and disappear.
I find my sweetest ease dear, with your arm across my chest,
Sleeping in your embrace, my dear, I feel my soul refresh
As morning light awakes, my love. our dreams gently shift,
But have no fear the love we share, will always uplift.
Here laid in each others arms, our hearts forever reside,
Sleeping in your embrace, my love, forever by your side.

Don’t complain to me about life
If things were always that easy
Everything would be great
The sun and moon still rise
To a place where they feel safe
Can we all agree about that
The water is too hot or too cold
Whenever I need go for a swim
So I must somehow just adapt
Nothing else comes that close
To the warmth of your embrace
Freedom only love were the case
I am so sick of this life’s stress
Where I can sadly find no rest
Do I really know what’s best
Peace and tranquility do exist
If we slow down our hectic pace
And find some space and grace

Your eyes know that I have waited so long, as I have waited for summer for a bird, and slept like the sleep of a migrant.

The term 'Friend' recklessly used no doubt
call one 'friend' you know NOTHING about
True Blue Friends extremely rare if not extinct
agree or don't just wanna make you think
Not shocked that most possess gullible mentality
believing you have many friends isn't reality
Acquaintances or buddies much more reasonable
perpetual jealousy makes true friends less feasible
A morally defunct world negates trusting completely
BEST FRIENDS deceive you more discreetly
many so-called 'friends' are cunningly malicious
don't be blind there's reason to be suspicious
Two-Faced 'friends' are part of your everyday
that's a sad fact I can definitively convey
Vast experience validates my every word
truly clueless if you dismiss this as absurd
Witnessing "friends" stab "friends" sickens me
'friend' requires absolute 'trust' that can't be
When told "My Best Friend" did me wrong
I grin knowing it would happen all along

Can I just hug the world please?
Some days the world hands you a slice of magic, and if nothing else comes from that it's okay.
To be able to hold onto that for a moment is worth it.

A photo, just a random photo, nothing but a face, an image of a stranger.
Or so it should be, but, why do you feel like He holds the key to who you are meant to be?
How can you explain the feeling that you know the feel, smell and taste of Him already?
His words wrapped around your body and soul in the most beautiful embrace.
Eye's that you understand have seen so much more than they needed to in this world.
You have had your Reason, your season, could you find your lifetime in This Man?

About this poem:
My Mom always said when my Dad came to the door to see her father for the first time, she took one look at Him and said "He's mine" she was 17 and he was 27 .
Theirs was a beautiful love story, he died at 45 in the war and she at 78 still loves Him with her Whole Heart.
Maybe that's my problem I can't settle for less.
Am ever the romantic and believe in the fairytale.

We are not all chosen
To attain the heights;
To gain our cherished hopes.
Some must remain
To struggle on along
Life's slippery slopes;
To fall,
And rise,
And say,
' We'll try again'.
TRAVELLING LIGHT
Travel light, don't let your cares
Become a heavy load.
Travel light, not overburdened
As you walk life's road.
Travel light, take nothing with you
Save a loving friend.
Travel light,enjoy the journey
To the very end.!

The bravest animal in the land is the Clover's Summoned Badger. He's just so grand
Cute and cuddly, made of all love, has very a strange obsession for having more than just one olive
He's the hero of Cordor's teaming throngs,
who tell tales of how he's righted wrongs
Now naughty, naughty drow on the make, kept the cityfolk folk awake
In fear and trembling every night
The naughty, naughty drow were the cities blight
Then one eve of darkest Moon,
A very big house went up boom
"My manor!", cried Lord Rivindor, " that happened how? "
Then Summoned badger started spitting bitsa naughty, naughty drow
When he saw his house lying flat he said "we cant let the blighters get away with that"
"I will be avenged there must be a way"
"To find those naughty, naughty drow and make them pay"
Said Min with a smile, "Have no fear!",
"Summoned badger and I will volunteer!"
Summoned badger led them all under ground, to where sneaky naughty, drow could be found,
They spied a rock and behind did hide,
waiting for the naughty, naughty drow to stroll by.
And soon along the trial did come,
two giggling naughty, naughty drow gloating over what they'd done
Then Noble Summoned Badger, stout of heart, Leaped out at the naughty drow, he gave them quite a start.
he bit them and he chomped them with sharp Summoned Badger teeth
He showed no quarter, he gave then no relief
I wont tell you what he did to them, for I must confess
very angry Summoned badgers tend to make a mess,
Back to the surface they did make their way, led by Summoned Badger, the hero of the day
"Hurrah! Huzzah!" Lord Rivindor cheered "my house has been avenged!"
"Against the naughty, naughty drow, I now have had revenge"
"How ever can I thank you? I know! my gold you can have all of."
"I'll take the coin", Min slyly smiled, "Summoned Badger just wants the olives"
The bravest animal in the land is the Clover's Summoned Badger. He's just so grand
