Hey Doodles, TT, Woo Woo.... do you remember me telling my story that I applied for food stamps but was denied getting them because I had more then $1,700 in the bank.
Well here's a story that almost made me forget the ungodly pain I'm living with since my knee replacement. You're probably thinking that I'm whining again about pain again. Youre' right, I admit it, I'm a wimp when it comes to pain but the knee pain I'm dealing with will someday come to an end.
The pain I feel now since reading this article of how my government betrayaed me when they said "You don't qualify for food stamps because you have more then $1,700 in the bank". And yet this woman with an expense purse and wallet and $800 in cash in the expensive wallet somehow did qualify for the food stamps that were in the expensive purse.
I wonder what kind of car the expensive wallet and purse with food stamps were in.

Morning Monte. I don't understand the food stamp program at all, other than to know there is a TON of fraud in it. I have a friend who has bunches of rentals and every day someone is coming in trying to sell their food stamp cards so they can get cash for drugs, alcohol or whatever.

Chris Matthews said much the same thing immediately fllowing the debate. To paraphrase, he said if he had been dropped in during the middle of the debate knowing nothing, he would have said that Romney was the president while Obama was the challenger.

Budgets do not come from the White House. They come from Congress and the party that controlled Congress since January 2007 is the Democrat Party.
Furthermore, the Democrats controlled the budget process for 2008 &
2009 as well as 2010 & 2011.
In that first year, they had to contend with George Bush, which caused them to compromise on spending, when Bush somewhat belatedly got tough on spending increases.
For 2009 though, Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid bypassed George Bush
entirely, passing continuing resolutions to keep government running
until Barack Obama could take office. At that time, they passed a
massive omnibus spending bill to complete the 2009 budgets.
And where was Barack Obama during this time? He was a member of that
very Congress that passed all of these massive spending bills, and he signed the omnibus bill as President to complete 2009.
If the Democrats inherited any deficit, it was the 2007 deficit, the
last of the Republican budgets. That deficit was the lowest in five
years, and the fourth straight decline in deficit spending. After
that, Democrats in Congress took control of spending, and that
includes Barack Obama, who voted for the budgets.
If Obama inherited anything, he inherited it from himself. In a
nutshell, what Obama is saying is I inherited a deficit that I voted
for and then I voted to expand that deficit four-fold since
January 20th.

Former CIA Director Michael Hayden tells Newsmax that Mitt Romney was right — and President Obama wrong — when the GOP candidate said during the Monday debate that a nuclear Iran and not a terrorist attack was the biggest threat to America’s national security.
The retired 4-star Air Force General also says he is “not very hopeful” that negotiations with the Iranians will dissuade them from developing nuclear weapons. And he predicts that a President Romney would “review” Obama’s exemption of some of Iran’s major trading partners from imposing sanctions on the Islamic Republic.

Wish you a full recovery soon from this pain ... I am sorry you have pain and I am sure when the ehaling is over, you will feel much better. It takes time before your body accepting this new knee and you got to regulary check it up with docs and with physichal therapist as well. Complicated and painfull recovery I know but the final out come wil be good for you
