So for nearly 20 days.....the Obama administration let the world blame a movie trailer made by a coptic Egyptian AND the United States...for the violence in Islamic countries. President Obama goes to teh UN...talks about the movie 7 times....one time about terrorism in a generic sense non specific to Benghazi.

Aside from the fact that your assessment isn't really true and does not explain why the CIA was told to stand down three times - the bigger question is "Why were the ambassador's pleas for security ignored repeatedly and for months even though they had already been attacked twice and there was undisputed evidence that the terrorists were growing?"

The C-130 Spectre gunship has a wide range of munitions. Including laser disignated. They had a lazer disignator on the roof of the CIA complex. It was pointed on the location of the mortar team that eventually killed them. Had the C-130 been over the city and been given the order to fire.. the lazer accuracy would have kept civilian collatol deathes and injuries to a minimum number.
The simple fact is....the President did not know the abilities of his C-130 gunships.....else he could have confidently order the mission.
