I wish I understood "normal". The controversy which exists is the same as ever.
We are so embroiled now.........the only miraculous change could ever happen if everyone put aside their own individual agendas, and thought for the collective good. I can´t see that happening in the forseeable future cos we´re all too selfish.
The change can only happen if each person thinks kindly of their neighbours which then resonates outwards like the ripples on water.
Bad thoughts can only enter us in the maelstrom.

It is not the problem of countries, but the problem of humanity. Since the fall of mankind, humans have been on a collision course with each other. Hate, feuds, pettiness, contention permeate life for everybody.
There is always talk of peace, but it eludes those that speak of it.
it will take nothing short of a miracle, the emergence of one all powerful entity that will rule all with a definite purpose and law of living.
Anything short of this, will always end in failure and will only last but a short time. Mostly very short time if they take off at all.
And most that talk of peace, real peace will be killed one way or another. Look throughout history, Ghandi, Martin Luther King, Jesus Christ.
