Been around since 2008. Take necessary breaks now and then. Same profile. I want to change my profile name but I still want to keep some of my posts. Is there a way to do that?
Usually after a long break I check to see if CS deleted my profile for none activity. Come to think of it: when does CS delete profiles of those who never do anything wrong to get banned? I mean, there could be saintly dead profiles floating around.

I think I've met everyone I want to meet, got my fingers burned as often as I want them to be burned, talked to everyone I want to talk to, and it's time to start drifting away but how likely am I to come back?
I've met people who have been here years under one profile with a pretty good attendance record, others who pop back for a month or two on a regular basis, then vanish again. No idea whether I will even be able to pull free and if I can, whether I'll find myself back.
Have you left, thinking that's it, and found yourself back weeks, months or even years later? Why?

same profile for years, but apart from the start, I don't want to meet someone and just hang around the forums and blogs.I don't watch telly and drop in when I have time - more when I'm not busy, but mightn't be on for weeks or month if I'm busy. Some nice peeps here and the entertainment value can be good occasionally.

I bump the doors open at times when I feel I want to contribute something cool, mundane, point of view , sadness,happiness, whatever turns my crank.
I can leave and fart and no one knows.
To me its not a hold so hard to have to pull free, its an open theatre to when I feel I want to participate (on the forums)
Poetry, is something I have loved to contribute for sometime now, now thats where i see alot of changes.
You get many people over time inputting and its great, a pity some amazing poets have moved on, yet they, as great as they are, pop in from time to time.

A strange sadness yet never seeing them in person.
I have a special bond with this site because of that, and that which had enabled me to meet these people on my life travel.
To me it does not matter whether if you are for a moment in time, or dedicate yourself to this, theres always someone somewhere that actually will click to your way.....or maybe not... quite like a good debate with one that bucks something!

This my second profile. My first got blocked because I posted a picture of in my swimming gear.... Why cant man post a picture in swimming gear and women can in their bikini? I asked the mods, but never got an answer... a few months later I came back and now I am online every few months for a couple of days

Through the internet, people are shielded from the face-to-face interactions, body language, etc. People may feel a lot more comfortable chatting through words and protected by the computer screen, but to be real it needs to move forward towards reality... to comes through fiber optics ...
