mollybaby: The age gap difference is more related to the age difference than anything
Taking the 15-year age gap as an example, there is a huge difference between a 15-year old being with a 30-year old than with a 30-year old being with a 45-year old.
Yes, but there are a multitude of factors. The main one is the motivation of the individuals to get into the relationship in the first place. Another is maturity. Another is common interests. The age gap itself is not really the defining issue.

I agree, not the defining issue. But the eugh factor comes into it, if one of the couple is at the substantially younger or older end of the scale.

Huh?
'Eugh' = 'eww'? -as in gag me with a spoon? - (Is that the european spelling?)....
The 'eww' factor is huge - for both parties! Getting into the sack with a partner 15 years one's senior, would be like me getting into the sack with an 80 year-old great grandmother. The only thing that would come to mind, would be to ask her if I could get her a hot camomille tea, and at a stretch, give her arthritic feet a rub with eucalyptus oil.
If one has any empathy, you also put yourself in the position of the other - a woman 15 years your junior. I would save her the embarrassment and sleep on the couch.

I don't date anybody significantly younger or older. When I was 22, I dated someone of 31 but I felt that was too significant and finished it. So since that, always around my own age.

Wise decision. That said, the age difference only becomes a game-changer at the opposite ends of the age scale - in your early twenties, or in your late fifties. Even then, I think the deciding factor is compatibility. If you just love the company of someone, and you get on together like a house on fire, then that sort of chemistry can overcome most anything.
Girls grow up faster than boys but not as much. Or to put it another way it takes longer for a boy to become a man because a man is a proper grown up. Girls are loved for what they are and boys are loved for the promise of what they will become.

1. You are 40 + years old 2. You have a good job 3. Financially stable 4. Healthy 5. Psychologically healthy and stable personality. 6. Emotionally luring for her . You are in heaven

Soooo Chesney! What will you become when you're a man?.
OnlyLiveTwice: Hmmm...the usual mistake - you went for looks, but you underestimated his smarts. It's the mistake men usually make.
Only partly right! He was very good looking!
The rest is a question of opinion and complicated! Let's just say that the division of assets was no worse than if a woman gets half the house of her ex husband ...

Apart from the age which will be confirmed by the dob on the birth certificate, everthing else you mention is relative and a matter of opinion...
It's probably the way that experience teaches one to understand without concern. The older man takes as long if not longer to fall in love than a woman and even the dirty old man is earnest in his filth - I mean at least he's not worrying about what she thinks of him. The boy will be much too conscious of how he is seen by others which is a violation of her territory. Getting drunk won't help because they've yet to invent a drink that causes you to lose self-consciousness without losing self-control. The story of life is about losing self-consciousness whilst gaining self-control and this is why she prefers men at least a bit older. Love is life for woman and they prefer men to have seen more of it.
