These are business tax cuts. He want to tie tax cut to foreign employment. If you are a big business and have employed foriegn worker he want to end their tax breaks.
Business repercussions anyone? Sure American business will not hire as many foreign workers. Making sure they will not lose the tax cut. They want the tax cut because it increases their bottom line. So they will reduce staff in foreign countries to keep thier American tax cuts. Also with fewer foreign employee, American business will not be as competitive on the international marketplace. Ask Big Brown (UPS) if this is a good idea as it tries to expand in China.
Such is the economic logic of the Obama Administration.
It only see direct benefits of their policies and expect them immediately. That is very short sighted and very short term.
This idea is coming from President Obama second team of economic advisors so has to be considered from the aspect.
There is host of person and parties against this idea. One is the National Association of Manufactures.
Now why would this group be against it? It would be making employment and jobs here in the US, assuming President Obama is right. Enter in the amazing economic concept of international cooperation. Business repercussions anyone? Sure American business will not hire as many foreign workers. Making sure they will not lose the tax cut. They want the tax cut because it increases their bottom line. So they will reduce staff in foreign countries to keep thier American tax cuts. Also with fewer foreign employee, American business will not be as competitive on the international marketplace. Ask Big Brown (UPS) if this is a good idea as it tries to expand in China.
Such is the economic logic of the Obama Administration.
It only see direct benefits of their policies and expect them immediately. That is very short sighted and very short term.

Now why would this group be against it? It would be making employment and jobs here in the US, assuming President Obama is right. Enter in the amazing economic concept of international cooperation. But is it not interesting with mid terms only 2 weeks away, that President Obama is sounding like a American isolationist, rather than a global internationalist?
Bottom line is this. Where the income come from foreign subsidiary or a domestic operation is all goes into the Corporate annual report and its taxable income. Presdient Obama plan here will reduce foreign incomes of American business substantially.....will reduce the taxable income....and continue the heavy deficit of his Administration.
While hiring a unknown number of American workers. Because he sites no studies or reports that say this would increase US employment.

Find me one word about tax cuts in the recovery.gov website. It is ain't there. On purpose. It is just the way Obama's government works. They give you a lot of fluff but none of the real info you need to plan with.
