They started early voting here in Florida. Was at the library earlier today were polling is taking place.

Now two things stuck out like thumbs just pounded on by a hammer.

One! That the DEM running have forgotten the colors of the DEM party in their signage. You know the Obama/Biden red, blue and white. We have black and white signs. Brown and orange. Red and white. Green and gold.Green and white. But not one DEM that I could see was Obama/Biden blue/red/white.

Now this is a mutli ethnic (English and Hispanic) and mostly DEM community. One sign....done is black and white.....was only in Spanish.

Two! This was the first day that the poll was open. I was there at 2pm....the parking lot of the library was jammed, they got people all over the library.....but no one was voting. They had no line at the poll at all.

This county went Obama/Biden in 2008. But if this turn out continues....
a write in could win it this year.

He said that when President Obama took over it was like the Chilean miners that were buried. That being the man that he is, he rolled up his sleeves and said he was going to get us out of the hole made by GWB.

A REP strategist said....that is right....Barack Obama is so over his head when he took office that he was buried. And that now with the come wave of REP and Tea Party wins, he is going to be buried again.

Oil companies produce a product, Dude. They make our cars go. Our plane fly. Our plastics. So? Right now the oil comes from Suadi and middle east. The sooner we have oil production from the Gulf, the better we are.

It was President Obama that just took $60b worth Saudi money for weapons, Dude. So he has no problem in doing deals with the Saudi.

Well all this too huge dependence on foreign oil will be rapidley decreased if Obama becomes able to do it his way and America got all ideas a bout how this less dependence can be acheived if republicans stopping their BS too big influence on american reality. As told before TT you do not need this much oil from Saudies any way and can get the damn thing from Rusia or from Venezuela or investing in Cuban oil adventure and so on and of course making better environmental attempts and then drilling more in America as well as Obama have annonuced he is supporting.

One the Gitmo releases detainees...went back the Yemen....where he joined the alQeada of the Saudi Penn group. Then recently the Saudi captured him.So he filed them in on these plots in Europe. Most of them directed at France.

Dude, DEM are big money too. REP are big money. This is a massive country of 304m people, it does not function without money. They learned that recently in the economic crisis....when the M1 and M2 money supplies shrank.

The deal on shame....is to know the difference fair and honest business deals and illegal deals. Most business people spend a life time learning to test a deal for its quality and legality. We all get taken on a business deal once in while. Buy a bad kilo of milk at the supermarket....you just got taken. Buy a used car lemon....you just got taken.

But here is the thing. The American government does not work on making good business deals. It make deals that for the national interest of the country. Different criteria. Sure its contracting for milk and car is done fairly and legally. But when you talk a $60b deal of weapons to the Saudi....fairness is not high on the criteria list. The faced geo- political reality is. That I think we both know is Iran.

DEM are attempting to buy the seniors votes now. They figure a senior vote is worth about $250. Maybe they give more to yonger voter....they will be able to vote more often in their life time.

This is about the timing of the Obama proposed $250 Senior supoplemental
check...that the DEm are wanting to replce the lost Social security COALs with.

The DEM are saying the vote us in....when we come back in the Lame duck session..with all our Nancy Pelosi ducklings still sitting in Congress...
we will pass the $250 supplemental.

Not only that the but the DEM have made the word "privatization' dirty on this one. Some REP have in the past proposes privatizing Social Security.
We privatize out other things.....roads....bridges....airports....rail system....but the sanctity of FDRs Social Security is so imbedded in the
DEM thinking....it should not ever be touched by the word 'privatized'.

Social Security is the one DEM bill and program that carried this country into the progressive and into socialism from a true free enterprise system in the early 1930s. With it, DEM can say....but look we gave you Social Security to make your old year's safe and secure. That is Gov't protecting the little man, who cannot think about how to invest his wages for his old years. The logic goes.

So when the question of privatizing Social Security arises....DEM take this hollier than thou approach and do some fear mongering. Look the dangerous REP and their Wall Street banker friends are going to PRIVATIZE your social security... rob you blind.....and you will not anything for your old age.

What does the Federal Government do with your Social Security money?
They invest it in various banking institutional bonds and notes that pay a low and secure interest rate that come to yield at the time the funds are needed to pay out in elderly claims. If the term...."various banker institutional bond and notes"....does not seem much like "Wall Street banker friends"....it is one of those funny political symantics used here in the US.

One is the DEM owned and approved various institutional bond and notes and the other is the REP owned and approved Wall Street Banker slimmy friends penny grade bonds. But I think that you are getting the drift.

Both DEM and REP have friends in the banking industry. Note I did not say have friends in low places. DEM want to invest these billion of Social Security funds to one group of bankers. REP want to invest the billion of Social Security funds with another of bankers. The tug of war over Social Security funds deposits has been going on since FDR and the DEM enacted the bill back in the 1930s.

So?

Would a REP privatized Social Security program be all that bad? It would be less costly to administer than the humgous Federal government program of today. A cost saving measure. Would they invest the funds into slimmy and unsafe REP Wall Street banker notes and bonds or into the clean and safe institutional bonds and notes of the DEM? Actually that depends on how the bill to privatize is written. To what terms and catagories of bond and note risk taking is allowed.

So Seniors it is your call....your vote for $250 or begin to get the country back in 2010.
