moonmana1: And you think Obama's Socialsim and Spending (which far exceeds in 2 yrs what GWB did in 8) is gonna fix the problem.

We need corporations to keep jobs here. Starts with incentives to compare with other countries.

You can't tax what you don't have.

And even if you gave Corporations tax free zones, you would still be far ahead because people would be employed again.
And how big is the deficit of America to day Moonmana? You seem knowing all this stuff and me "the person not knowing any thing what so ever" Dont...

I think Dude might be confusing National Debt with the National Trade Deficit.

As of November 7, 2010, the "Total Public Debt Outstanding" was approximately 95% of annual GDP, ($13.723 Trillion) with the constituent parts of the debt ("Debt held by the Public") being approximately 66% of GDP ($9.14 Trillion) and "Intergovernmental Debt" standing at 34% of GDP . The United States has the 20th highest debt to GDP ratio of all nations, and has the fourth highest of the G8 Nations. Within the remainder of this article the phrase "Public Debt" is employed as a shorthand for "Debt Held by the Public". The terms of "Debt Held by the Public" and "Total Public Debt Outstanding" are often used interchangeably, with much contention as to which is the true measure of government debt, yet what both measures share in common is that they both contain sovereign issued bonds backed by the Full Faith and Credit of the United States of America, with the differentiating factor as to who the holders of the bonds are, the "public" or "intergovernmental agencies".

Exactly!

Republicans began a new presidential campain the day after Obama was elected! They decided not to compromise, not to cooporate, not to respect him, not to understand him getting elected and even tried to destroy the willingness of the american armed forces involved in two wars... and all this in the time when a lot stupid terrorists threatened America, America was in a huge Recession and lost a 750,000 jobs a mounth and 18,000 ameircans died a year because of lack of health care coverage and americna car makers were on certain way of bank rupy and forclosers happened in millions and so on, for gud sake! All the whining is over J.

"Hope and change" amounted to tax and spend. Same BS from the DEMS, different day. You can point the finger at the GOP all you want. After 2 years with a Majority, the DEMS have run out of time.

"In short, the simple mechanics of Keynesian stimulus breaks down because government spending rises at the expense, dollar for dollar, of private spending. It's like taking a dollar out of your right pocket, putting it in your left pocket, and pretending you've an extra dollar to spend." -J.D Foster

The financial misdirection, back-room unilateral deals, and pork are at an end. Now King Chicago will HAVE to be bipartisan rather than just paying the concept lip service, and do the real WORK, rather than just lookin' and talkin' pretty.

What surprised me to the list that I looked at.

The number of banks...and financial firms that received bailout packages from Obama...were also either bundlers or mega donators for him.

Sachs Goldman, JP Morgan, Citicorp, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley....each of those got stimulus funds early in his first year.

And Suisse Credit....a foreign banking firm. A firm that the Obama administration hit with a $400m dollar fine for secretly holding Iranian fund and drug money laundering.
