Rolltide8102: I dont know why people from other countries keep giving their opion and imput on other countries government if they want to have a opion that counts in that country they need to move there or shut up and pay attention to their on government failures. Ofcourse that would be to logical so ofcourse they are not going to mind their own dam business.

Well lady, look: I have been also asked or even attacked for matters concerning my country and only. I did'nt mind at all, I answer and I even kept smilling. As for me in here, I'm rather a silente watcher, but besides the question Obama or not Obama, their were worldwide relevant economic facts indluded in here, to which I have the wish to refer sometime, because in that matter we are weaved together today. And as you still play a dominant role in there, It's not only your matter anymore.

President Obama admitted on 60 Minutes, that he had failed to make the case for many for the stimulus rescue.

He said..."he stopped paying attention" to his leadership style that he had during the campaign. He also recognises..."leadership is not just legislation" but also "its a matter of persuading people. And giving them confidence and bringing them together. And setting a tone. and making a argument that people can understand."

"And I think that- we haven't always been successful in that. and I take personal responsibility for that. And it is something that I got to examine closely as I go forward".

I have been a leader a few times in my life. It is never easy. You are the problem solver. Or with the decision to be made, the decision maker. At his level with a war on, he is truly making life and death decisions.

The tone you set for..for say the Health and Human Service....is a different tone you set for the five Military Branches. That is still different than the tone you set for Homeland Security. Each of these agencies is a group of people, working for common tasks and goals.

I still see the idea of being a community organizer here. 'Giving people confidence and bringing them together'....do a week with a small Navy Seal team and you find that leaders give orders...orders that are vital to mission success and unit safety.

While his leadership concept here works for the majority of the civilian government agencies, it still falls short for the 5 military branches and likely the State Department and CIA were Presidential orders set more than the tone. They give the direction that the White House wants them to take.

Here the men and women that raised their hands and took the oath, know that unexpected 'risk' plays a role in every mission or deployment that they have. If we are to place these into harm's way, their orders have to be realistic and viable. To our countries National Interest and Security. It is their personal courage and unit spirit, that will endure the 'risk' to achieve a mission. Here solid orders and a President tone that inspires unit intergrity, patriotism and love of country....is great asset.

Being fair and balanced...I would say he is learning......and the HARvard attitude just got knocked away with the mid term. The mentally superior position is not always the best. Is not always the one that is the winning one. It just means it is a smart position. Often the unknown risks can cause a smart position and policy to be a losing hand.

But that is why they call us the Home of Brave......and the Free.

It did not take the new REP/Tea party much time to go the heart of the issues. They are now going into the National Security Issues and its debate.

The REP have been able to stall the START treaty Senate vote. Now with
the lame duck session, President Obama want to have it pressed thru. It takes 60% to ratify a treaty in the Senate. With the REP gains, it will be harder in a few months to ratify.

This your humble blogger predicted earlier.

But REP want to go into both the details of START and into the process how it was signed. All the Russian geo political tricks of the time, have them concerned here.

The new 30 Tea party canidate bring a new and unexpected debate topic to the table. Ron Paul...sees the weak SW border as the single a largest National Security threat.

Then you have the coming Afghan June 2011 withdrawal that the REP Senate and Congress will reflect on. It they see that the 'condition on the ground' are threatening to US National Security. What then? I hear John McCain in the back ground saying we can stay for a 100 years.

Then the slashing of advanced weapons system by the Obama Administration. Here again the REP and Tea Party can make the
case that government contracts make jobs.

Expect a Congressional hearing on the START treaty. Expect Comprehensive immigratioon reform to be replaced by border security.
Expect Congressional tours of Afghanistan to fact find the situation. Expect. Expect the F-22 and Crusader to be back on DoD's procurement list.

But little done here....gets to the solving the Islamic terrorism causes or new bring new counter terrorism programs. Not only that, how do you cut the deficit, as you add the F-22, build the SW border fence and security systems, and if START is defeated.....keep a large nuclear arnsal.

So REP/Tea Party elected....have their feet to the proverbial fire. With campaign promises to keep....how do you have a strong National Security and a axing of the deficit.

Conrad73: Leadershipstyle,or Riding on the Coattails of the Media?

The liberal media.....that tried so desperately to swing this election to the DEMs....just had a major wake up call. They see them selves fighting over the 30% dedicate liberals and hard DEMs market in the country for market share. While FOX goes on its merry way.....collecting dissatified DEMs. MOD, Tea Party and REP.....which is the great share 70% in the country. Can Murdock make a business choice, or can Murdock make a business choice!

Am thinking here....by the 2012....MSNCB will be down to a single producer, cameraman and reporter. Broadcasting from a RV. The View will be holding tryouts for replacements for Joy and Whoopie. NPR will begging Juan Williams to renew his contract. And the White House...says sir.... to Bill ORielly, every time they talk about him.grin

JSuburbia: ok, what you don't seem to grasp is, the front page is plastered with these threads , kinda hard NOT to see them. and it's the same 4 or 5 people in each thread, spouting the same things, sighting the same sources in each of them. However, like I just said in a different thread (if you could get out of the brain dead political ones you probably would have seen it). It's been the same threads for about 2 years now...

1. Political threads
2. Say anything threads
3. Same not funny photo threads
4. Word association threads
5. what are listening to threads
6. the ever so popular (although they seem to pop up less) how big do you women like your guy to be or how big are your breasts threads (these I actually find worse than the political threads, but they are less infrequent thankfully)

JSuburbia: Not to mention I guess I hope maybe one time I will pop into one of these, and someone actually is saying something new...Instead it's the same Democratic & Republican drones spewing the same message of propaganda about their party...Doesn't noone use any credible sources either. 99% of the time it's from some leftwing or rightwing oriented site, that is obviously biased towards a certain point of view. I think I've seen maybe 3-5 people that are actually independant thinkers post in these threads in the 3 or 4 years that I've been on this site.

What can get done then? when ever too many americnas chose to think this way Republicans winning sympaty and that sucks becuase the very same politicians form one party or the other taking over means a huge lot for the country and for the entire world as well!

Republicans mainly love americans loosing interest for politics and love to spin in that direction because they know more than well evne they talk a bout dont vote1 All politicians are corrupted! All politicians are the exact same! government must be shut down! plus a lot other horrible BS to forcing progressiv americnas loosing interest... their own endorsers participating and winning the Damn thing that way!

Republicans are deifnately NOT kind of Anarchists or some thing like that... they just want to have the power for them selves and then spreading anarchism BS all over the place using millions on that kind of propoganda and then taking the country smoothly... they have found a weakness amoung many americans and using this weakness very well actually.

Your Vote, your participation supporting who ever you want in free elections JS... is a right millions of human beings in other countries are just dreaming a bout ... Take care of this holy right and please stop beleiving all politicians are the exact same and their decisions will effect what you eat and breath and do and feel and buy and see and hear, or what ever !
