It is so good to wake up in the morning wondering what this new day is going to be like. So many things can happen and you are still around to experience it.
Men are still in control but it is slowly changing. Unfortunately forced change never works. In SA women are more and more doing jobs that were traditionally done by men....from the bottom up to senior management. Some men feel threatened by it and it is maybe a cause of relationships breaking up but they will get use to it. Maybe one day we shall be able to stand with them in the sun as no one wants to be someones shadow.
I love pork and life would be miserable without bacon. Pigs are raised on good food in this country and their pens kept clean so have not heard of anyone getting worms from pork. It is anyway easy to get rid of any of that pests as you just have to keep the meet frozen for a week or so then it is completely safe. In countries where pigs have access to human fesses and rotting meat and stuff and where they don't have good freezing facilities I won't touch pork.
Mimi every time I read your blog I cry. Love ruined your life but it need not stay that way. Free yourself of your sadness as life can be great if you realize you need not hang onto that sadness.
Happy birthday. It is your right to enjoy your birthday any way you like and your way does not sound like such a bad idea. It's my birthday too and I don't even have ice cream.
We are on the same page on this one. Lying is a waste of time as in the end it causes more problems than telling someone what he/she did not want to hear. I also rather keep quiet when I know the truth is going to hurt someone.
What you look is just one part of the attraction. Who you really are plays a much bigger role in my opinion. I don't really like redheads but loved one to bits some years back.
May I never be that desperate. There are very few men I can get along with so picking one out of a bundle is not going to work for me or the poor man who picked me.
Maybe most of that takes very long to happen as I had birds in the house numerous times and we are all still very much alive. Suspect I am going to die 30 years from now or maybe a little sooner so it will eventually catch up with me....Stupid birds...
They know by now what a gun is so you will have to hide it. It is just like the baboons in our country. You can yell as much as you like they will just look at you, but if you come out with a gun they are gone in a flash.
You have my sympathy as I am sure I won't survive your long cold winters. Get a hobby or just something you really enjoy doing. Something like a puzzle with 3000 pieces can keep you busy for while.
No scary creatures around here but had some strange lines in the sawdust on the floor in the garage this morning. Had us puzzled until my son saw a tiny millipede hanging around...so the mystery was solved.
I agree with you. When there is trouble money is always part of the reason or sometimes the only reason. Unbelievable that something so worthless...just a piece of paper....can rule us in so many ways.
I like that message in a bottle....times have changed...
The most awesome thing I have ever experienced was a lightning storm over the Karoo. It was at night and the road was not that busy so pulled over and sat there for a while just watching the lightning giving me a show I shall never forget. Was a bit frightening but awesome.
