I was the "difficult" one in the family who could never be indoctrinated into box thinking. Yet, you can't escape it completely but have my youngest son to enlighten me with his sometimes outrages ideas.

This is scary stuff. No use spending millions on cancer research if some cause cancer at a grand scale without us even knowing. We also get fish from that part of the ocean. No more fish and chips at a restaurant as it is mostly the catering places that sell the imported fish.

I don't enter competitions for stuff I don't want so unless it is a Jeep or Land rover or some money with a string of zeros after the first number I am not in. You can all join me for trips in the Jeep and money you can share with even random strangers so no one needs to feel left out.

Every stone in my garden was carried here from the rocky part of the beach about a mile from my house. After all that effort I am not willing to throw it at anyone. You are welcome to throw stones over my wall as long as it is interesting looking stones.

A good conversation is all it needs to get me interested. Sounds easy but there is a lot too having a meaningful, enjoyable conversation with someone.....at least for me....don't know about others.

I put up some steel shelves next to the tumble drier and that became my son's cupboard. Don't think there is anything in the cupboard in his room except maybe spiders.

As Minerva said...it is an illness. It is impossible for some people to not lie about everything....even stupid things that are not important. There is no motivation or reason for doing it...they just live in a world we can't understand. Have once listened to a conversation between 2 people. They compulsive liar could change his story within seconds each time he was confronted with the truth. He never stuttered or showed any signs of stress or embarrassment. He appeared completely at ease and full of self confidence while uttering nothing but lies.

Scary what happened to you. Not going to be easy to forget but here is a big if that is of any help.

Think Mimmi and I are the same kind of mothers so not sure I have that kind of motherly love. I am also not a doting kind of mother and it was always so good when they went to visit their father for a holiday.....but....if anyone hurts one of my kids there will be trouble.
