Unfortunately the only way to avoid getting hurt is to avoid falling in love in the first place. You take the risk and hope for the best or you stay without....no other options I know of.

It is no use going that road. Getting a second chance even with the knowledge you have now has no guarantee of working. Most couples who try again fail again. So don't waste too much time on thoughts like that.

The objective part of me will say....millions of people all over the world are anyway suffering so what will one more family matter. I love my family and want them to have a good life so why should I care about some unknown family suffering.
The subjective part of me will say....people are suffering anyway but you are not the direct cause of that. Will you be able to live with the knowledge that you are the direct cause of a whole family living in misery?
I have to think a bit....yes I shall open the box as my whole family will benefit. Having to live with the knowledge of the price attached to their happiness is a price I am willing to pay.

Wow...never even heard of such a benefit as we never had that. Here you pay for it yourself or visit the nearest state clinic on family planning day to get it for free. Not many options to choose from at the clinic and have to take some time off at work every 3 months to visit the clinic.....and you better make sure you go there on family planning day as they don't do contraceptives on other days.
