You are on the right path....just drop the part about the light manipulating us. Only humans manipulate and control others. Light and sound are the 2 things that affect us emotionally....why? Light is mentioned a lot by Jesus. He referred to himself as the light and also said we should not hide our light but let it shine for everyone to see. Primitive people worshipped the sun and the moon long before they created a humanoid god.

Jesus said that after he told the rich man to give away everything and follow him. The fact that he could not part with his money in order to serve God made him loose his place in heaven. That is the case with lots of rich people so is indeed more difficult for rich people to go to heaven. The other obstacle for them is how they get and manage their money. God bless people with material wealth so nothing wrong with being rich as long as money don't rule your life. That verse is a warning that money can easily become more important than God. It does not imply that Christians should not be rich.

Thanks for the good advice. Can use that as an excuse if they reckon I have maybe too many plants for personal use. All well here on the mountain. Going to PE tomorrow so hope weather is nice there. Have a lot of shopping to do so it better not rain.

Maybe I should take notes here......making a whole ceremony of extracting splinters. Hate it and have n patience with it so sometimes makes it worse be trying to scratch it out rather than look for the tweezer.

You left out the bit about chasing young girls to make them feel youg again. Luckiy I am now old enough to date men who are over all that kind of problems. It is just the knee and hip repacements and the box full of chronic medication that get a bit in the way when they finally get back to normal again.

You get that kind of wind only in Cape Town. After spending a lot of time in PE last year I also started to wonder why they made PE the major windy city.

My life changed completely in the last 3 years. 3 years ago I was angry, bitter and in pain. Knew a couple of people I would have liked to accidentally fall into a knive at least 35 times. Wished for a tsunami to wipe out the whole of St Helena bay....preferably with no survivors. Bought this plot during that time and it changed my life for the better.

Cold and rainng over here. A cow walked through one of my raised beds. It was damaged so had to fix it. Luckily nothing planted in it yet.

Told my children if I can't care for myself anymore they must just push my wheelchair close to a cliff with my finger on the forward button. Hopefully I'll remember to press it. To me life is not worth living if I can't be productive in some or other way.

So true...the truth is worth nothing if the one you are telling it to don't want to hear it. Selective hearing and believing they can change you always end in disaster. I made that mistake too and it was not a good experience.

It is more like....all body parts still working. Have more activities to offer than cuddle and a walk on the beach. Practical and handy so things can get done around the house. Love my cooking and willing and able to cook sometimes. Being able to keep himself busy with his own thing at times and give me room to do mine. Willing to live in a rural area. Wearing boots and driving a Jeep kind of vehicle would definitely make me take a good look at him. Ant knowledge in the line of cob building, permaculture and off the grid living....think I am starting to ask for too much now.
