RE: am i man hater.?

no cardio your not a man hater..you just want the right man to fall for, not some player..
ya the players can be obvious in their fake compliments and also it is true once they get what they want, they dont want you anymore..no one should tell you what to do or who to feel something for..in my opinion it is better to be safe than sorry.
trust no man untill he has proven his love with his actions and has dated you for a long enough time..otherwise if you fall for the lies and games then you are allowing them to be their victim.

RE: Grand parents raising grand children...and dating

I think it is a wonderful thing both you and whatever are doing by raising your grandchild..If a man isnt willing to accept a woman who has children at home then he isnt worth dating.
Try making friends with good men and maybe in the future you will find one who is ok with children at home..Sometimes a friend can introduce you to someone they know who is a good guy.
People put too much stress into trying to find a mate and lose patience..Just relax and enjoy life..Eventually a decent man will come along.

RE: i posted:

not all men are like that but a lot are..just be careful who you get emotionally involved with..

RE: The beaches

I think that is what he means?? I mean he lives in NY, I would guess you have to appreciate the change of seasons or just be putting up with it..lol

RE: The beaches

Hi Winha..Yes the beaches are great but he is asking is there any women who appreciate nature "all year long".. Meaning the change of seasons..laugh

RE: Dedicated to those who suffer

I had sunk into deep depression during a temporary break up with a man I was in love with years ago and during that time I wouldnt eat.
I never had a weight problem but I was obsessed with being perfect thinking that would keep me from ever getting hurt or disappointed again.
At my lowest point I weighed 84 lbs..You could fit my hiney in the palm of your hand almost.
My family got scared and would bring over food ect, thinking it would make me gain weight but I would just give it away or flush it down the toilet.
It was my ex fiance who got me to start eating normally again and I understand now how important it is to keep your body at a healthy weight.
I have never gotten into that frame of mind since then but I completely understand why women have or still are.
Todays society puts so much pressure on us women to always be pretty, never age, be the perfect body, ect..
We are almost brainwashed into thinking we wont deserve love if we arent perfect..
It has been many years since this happend to me and thankfully only was for a couple of years or I wouldnt be here today writing this..
We all deserve love, and the most important thing is to also love ourselves.. teddybear

RE: First blog....will see how it goes...:)

Welcome to the blog room..Have fun..wave

RE: Is it hard?????????????

@Ash..well sorry, I wasnt sure what you were talking about and who was doing the lies.. Maybe I should have read all the comments on here before I posted..LOL..
Well as far as that goes, I agree, its not fun to be deceived by anyone..Just view it as it is their loss?
Not everyone lies, so just be patient and maybe next one will be more honest and things will work out..

RE: -20 deg. Celsius Yikes!!

laugh bugs so thick you cant see your friends faces while talking to them? lol...zinadawn, you always get me laughing with your comments..ya i agree it has been a awfully bad winter this year..i live about 2 hours freeway from the ontario border and we get much of the same type of weather here..i am so glad spring weather will be coming soon..sick of this cold stuff.

RE: Hi Everybody!

I've had several men who wanted to meet me..One I am currently chatting with but I'm very cautious about meeting anyone too quick and dont think rushing into anything with a man online is a wise thing to do..Ya you can meet guys on here..Just be patient..

RE: cry

Take some asprin or over the counter pain killer and see if there is a dentist in the area who can help?
As far as crying over a guy who doesnt cry over you, nah, just forget him..Its a waste of time..

RE: NATO : HOW MUCH PEOPLE KIILING IN INDEPENDENT LIBY

doh Oh monirul dude give it a rest...Please, we are so sick of seeing in all caps the same thing over & over & over & over, 1.0000000000 times..gnite

RE: trust

Yeah any guy who says "trust your heart" should not listen to.
Trust should be earned by a person before given..
What I mean by that is take your time to get to know them very well and make sure they prove they are trustworthy before you start trusting them..

RE: wow! I never thought to look!

p.s. I agree with Jode..Shes a very smart person who's been around enough to know what she is doing..cheers

RE: wow! I never thought to look!

Hi Sloopi..I dont think I ever "forced" you to do anything but thank you for the appreciation you gave me for opening your eyes.
Well to 10k it is only the people who are looking for "email/chat friends" who no one really needs to worry about what age group they are looking for..Usually the email/chat friends people put 18-99.
The ones who are looking to date, long-term, marriage, anything to do with meeting in person, ya I would advise a woman or man to look at that because that person most likely is "interested" only in that age group..From what I have noticed about every man who's ever talked to me, they seem more interested in a female that starts at the "beginning" of their desired age group. lol
So if it starts at 22 and ends at 50..Well Im more at the higher end of the scale and most likely will be bumped off the list if someone 30 or younger shows interest..
I just dont like to waste my time with uninterested men..Its just too much drama for my taste.. lol

RE: Movies...A bad date?

I think going to a movie theater is a good idea for a first date..Its a public place and it also gives both people something added to talk about if they go for a walk or over coffee at a coffee shop?
Its also around the same cost as a couple of drinks and safer to drive home without any alcohol in your system..lol
Im kinda shy in person so for me a movie out is a good thing, helps get me used to the person first without all the pressure to jump into a conversation right away.

RE: If I can't get a smile, take my business elsewhere

Well maybe she feels she is only there to cut hair and not serve as entertainment?
If it was a man who didnt smile would you have said the same thing?

RE: average guys finish last

lonelydivorcee..Your 44 and would date a girl 25?
I mean really..That is almost 20 years younger than yourself.
I hate to tell ya but most females around your age would look at your choice in age range and it would scare them off..

RE: Singles Sites - Why I came to Connecting Singles

laugh yah rowdy ive wondered what dervish is smoking too. lol

RE: average guys finish last

Omegamike, ya but this isnt high school anymore..but then i did look at lonelydivorcee's profile and the age group in women he is looking for does start at 18.. LOL..maybe that is also part of his problem?
looking for girls that could be his daughters age instead of women?

RE: where the real women at

laugh try changing your profile name from "goon" to something at least sounding a little more classy..?? lol
maybe you will get better results after that..

RE: Can't understand spelling and words!!

whoops..I was talking about the guys who message women on cs on my last post..just in case anyone wondered..
they dont have a quote button on the blog forums..

RE: Can't understand spelling and words!!

laugh yah or the guys so illiterate he never got past the 2nd grade in elementary school..laugh

RE: Miss them ...

awww, thank you chococherry.. & narnia, find a man who will never want to leave and treats you right..good luck cheers

RE: Miss them ...

No narnia..it is better to leave a man alone than to contact him and tell him you miss him, because if he does not miss you, he will ignore your message and it will make you feel worse.
many women assume if she feels something for a man, he will feel something for her..its sad but too many women are wrong in assuming these things.
if he disappeared then let him go and view it as he wasnt in love with you.
if he was, he wouldnt have ever left.
you cant make a man fall in love, nor can you change him..just accept it and move on..

RE: When someone says he needs space

zindadawn..im glad you found a nice man after kicking the first husband to the curb..what a moron he sounds like he is.
how did he react when you found out and busted him?
i wish i could find a good man that im attracted to..it seems over here in michigan they are a rare find. lol

RE: When someone says he needs space

laugh zindadawn..you have a very good sense of humor..lol
got me laughing about the ex..im curious to know though how did you find out he was seeing the secretary?

RE: When someone says he needs space

ya pretty much they want to meet others and move on..they use this term to help them be able to have their cake and eat it too. meaning, if they dont find someone else, they can come back because you "accepted it".
if a guy told me he wanted space and left me, i would let him have it forever and never talk to him again.. lol
unless there was some extremely good reasons for his leaving me, there wont be another chance..i wont take 2nd place to any female..it just shows the guy how desperate we are to accept any bad behaviour and have a man for the sake of just having a man.
