Me too! Just shows how gullible we are to marketing! I am going to stop in at local curry restaurant for a takeaway! Yum Yum. Nothing like a bit of ring sting to put your life into perspective!

Beautifully explained! Indian food is exotic and delicious... I grew up in Durban where there is a large Indian population. My mom worked with Indians, and I started eating curry when I was very young. I LOVE spicy foods -bland does NOT do it for me. I don't like it when it is overwhelmingly hot though - you need to be able to savour the different spices.

Good post! Whew. I have done a few crazy things - can be very spontaneous! My first was leaving home at 20 to go and live with a guy in Cape Town, far away. I left everything I knew including a good job. He was the only soul I knew there and we were far too young for that sort of commitment! Anyway, it all ended well. Even though the relationship didn't last, my love for Cape Town lasts to this day!

France and Italy... Would love to barge through France and do a walking/cycling trip through Tuscany, although have this THING about seeing Venice (must be to do with a past life), and having read "The Agony and the Ecstasy" would love to see Florence and Rome too.

Next on the agenda - Scotland and Ireland! Would love to 'trace my roots' a few generations back that is in Scotland, and have good friends living in Cork. Love the Irish!

Crikey! I've been off here a couple of days and look what happens! A total crackpot joins and has you all running in loops around him... I just checked out his latest thread and am shocked - he is disgusting...

Honestly peeps.... I really think it is best to ignore him. Hopefully he will get bored and go away then.
