It depends on what you mean by 'friends' and the type of 'frienship' we share here. If we got to the stage of exchanging e-mails and talking in real life then I'd have no problem keeping in touch in real life. If its only a little chit chat on this site and doesn't go beyond that then how deep was this friedship? If you've got a relationship in real life then that requires time, if you've got kids they require time, if you're looking after an elderly parent, they require time. There are things in real life that would limit the amount of time a person could spend here on CS chatting. Having said that if a person wants to stay here and chat after they have found love then that is their choice, I would hope though that they would respect the sanctity of their relationship and not get themselves into trouble.

While I do not believe one should lose their true friendships, I do think that if a person decides to spend less time or no time here and devote it to their relationship then that is what they feel they must do. Each person knows the situation in their own relationship and what it requires. If I found someone and disappeared forever then the ones on here who REALLY MATTERED would have already know how to contact me and me them.

Yeah what about those risk takers? No pain no gain. Its like you go to a store and you want a top quality brand product but all you want to bring to brint to the store is 50cents and expect to walk out with a $5,000 appliance.

Well I joined CS late last year so haven't made my anniversary yet. Anyway I hope not to be here so long that I need a power chair to get to my computer and starting to put my teeth in a glass.

I like this thread. Everyone has their preferences but the fact is this, as nice a person as I might think that I am, I 'm not looking for my twin. If we are looking past the exteriors of a person then I would say the best bet is to find a complimentary soul that matches ours.

Just out of curiousity. What is it about certain drugs that makes people crave this type of crap so much - and I'm not talking doctor prescribed medication here. Lack of HEALTHIER ways to get a buzzz or relieve that stress or relax? I've never experimented with drugs and have absolutely no desire to in any way and best of all I've never had anyone offer them to me(they'd probably REALLY need drugs after I told them off).
