RE: Tiger, Continued...

Well you know at the end of the day when all the sponsers have gone away and it just you and those you love, can all the endorsements in the world cover for the fact that your loved ones think you're a pile of crap? I think Tiger should focus on fixing that pile of mess he's got at home first before worrying about all this stuff. You know its not as if he can take any of it with him when he dies.wine

Leonardo da Vinci versus Michelangelo

I think each had their genius. However I'm for leaning a bit more towards Leonardo. How many artists today can wrap their brain around so many things. The man was so diversely talented.applause

RE: Internet dating - Getting what you expected ?

Hmmmm. Well I think CS is one of the better sites around, its got lots of enticing stuff that others don't have(I've been on a few). Its great if you like meeting people from around the globe that you would not otherwise meet(Nothing wrong with that). However, if you here really just for Dating, as a DATING SITE well that can be another matter. Some here have been fortunate to have things work out and quite sucessfully at that, others meet a daily diet of scammers or just don't make a connection. There are a lot of things that have to fall into place, right person, right time. Distance, differences in culture, unrealistic expectations, dishonest persons, etc...all can work together to create disappointment. I think its just the luck of the draw just like in real life. dunno

That Hunky Love Machine giving you a hard time about going off to your cave? No Problemo, there is nothing that a few good whaps applied to his lovely butt would not fix. RE: Is It Just Me ??????

I'm willing to bet that this won't be the first or the last time converters are going to hoist up their flag, its part of the religion to tell others about said religion. If I had no inclination towards joining or just simply did not believe I'd ignore and move on. No one gets to feel offended. There are enough fellow Christians here who will receive the message they bring. Are we to continue the division between the Atheist camp and the Christian camp? Frankly all I see here is animosity and disconnection from both sides - All this does is create a never ending distraction from what a lot of us came here to do and that is to connect.

RE: Is It Just Me ??????

Well after (painfully) reading some of the posts from both sides on these religion threads, I 've come to the conclusion that I belong to an even smaller minority but so be it. As for the deluge of threads on religion all I can say is this, If people got no gratification/ personal reward out of doing a thing then they would stop doing it. I wouldn't do something over and over if I got nothing out of it,so that would answer the question of why these threads persist and since it continues then I guess both sides are getting their gratification. But I guess its much better to be right than to agree to disagree. I wish I could say that all the squabbling has changed my views on either side - sadly it hasn't. JMHO. Carry on.wine

RE: Is It Just Me ??????

It drones on for pages and pages because it receives an audience. When I was still a newbie I saw Obama threads that droned on for days, weeks even. During that time I was convinced that people only got up from their computers to eat, sleep and hopefully bathe.

RE: Is It Just Me ??????

Is it just me or is it that this site appears to have mainly athiests on here. What I've observed in the last few weeks of this continual Atheist/ Christian fude is really a lack of tolerance. The dominant majority shouting down the minority and the minority feeling a compulsive need to bring about some sort of conversion. An endless pointless drama with I'm guessing neither side converting to the others views. Before it was Obama as the whipping boy, now its religion. It don't take a degree to fathom that trying to convert anyone here who is an atheist is a waste of precious time anymore than gaining the respect of a devout Christian by telling him that what he believes in is fantasy and fairy tales. If people just could give due respect to the other and leave well enough alone then maybe we wouldn't all be bored to tears. JMHO.
