To make a mistake once is one thing but to make it TWICE is a habit. It takes a big man to not blame the kids and still stick by them. That's equally as painful as a woman finding out her husband has some outside child that she's expected to accomodate. When you break a trust like that the relatioship has nowhere to go but down.

For some men the 'V' word is a bad word they might not necessarily want the responsibility of a kid but that doesn't mean they want to do a vasectomy either. They don't have a problem with the woman tying her tubes though, but that is another story.

Don't believe men should be tricked into a pregnancy, there is always the risk that the man will want nothing more to do with you OR the child.

If a man definitely does not want kids but the woman he is with wants them and despite his wishes she goes ahead and gets pregnant anyway, who should bear the financial cost of raising the child? Guys what would you do in a situation like this?

I understand what you're saying but lets face it, the time taken also gives you a chance to see if its a fit for you as well. Getting to know people takes time especially if you're thinking relationship. It must be pretty hard to meet a nice guy/girl but along the way find out he/she is still not for you. Sometimes people agonize for a long time because they just don't want to hurt or give the impression they were stringing you along - sometimes this does backfire because that is the impression it sometimes gives anyway. Can't let the bad experiences get in the way of you finding your lady. When its right its just right.

For one thing not everybody is out to hurt people. Unless a person is an obvious, player no one likes to hurt another's feeling and let's face it not everyone is good at saying that its not going to work. Another thing is that not everyone takes the news well, I've seen time and time again here where a woman says she's not interested and the response is often rude. In any case one bad apple don't spoil the whole bunch.

Our new Prime Minister is of Indian descent - as in India not Native American and she's not the first of Indian descent to hold that position - just the first female. If Obama caused such a drama, I can only imagine the kinds of dramatics electing someone of Indian descent and a Hindu would cause.

Well this is my first Obama thread - hey I'm no longer an Obama thread virgin!

Well I wasn't around when Bush reigned supreme so I'm only basing this on the year and some months that I've been here. Between the lovers and the haters that love to hate the guys seems to be breaking records. Was a time when the religion threads were taking a pounding as Obama thread after Obama thread battled it out. Back in the early days it seemd like folks rarely slept, bathed or ate and if they did it seemed as if they slept it was on a bunk right next to the computer so they could get their licks in. Pizza boxes probabled piled high(to busy arguing - oops I mean discussing)to bother to cook and there probably was a portable potty nearby to take a leak. Yep Obama is still pretty popular and as he faces crisis after crisis the more his cs stock goes up. In the early days a lot was expected, especially by the finatics who had high hopes but now it seems the haters have also caught the bug and have high expectations of performing miraculous works such as waving his magic wand and stopping oil spills. Tis the price of being so popular. So whether its the failing economy, health care and now oil spills (and I think the Hurricane season will soon be starting HOPEFULLY no major ones will hit cause surely then the Obama threads will once again reing supreme) you've got to admit Obama is the man. The cs most popularly talked about man. Wonder how he sleeps with all that ringing in his ears.

Well America isn't the only country that has drilling going on or BP nestled into their busoms - its a cautionary tale for ALL countries involved in this type of drilling I would think.

I've just got a few questions. Anyone feel free to answer the first one. How long has BP been enjoying the moulah(a.k.a. the loads of cash) off drilling in that part of America? In other words how long have they been in operations over there?

So true its usually not the Europeans that they are rascist against here - its the blacks. However the times are a changing I see a lot of Indian and black couples here now, within my own family I have nephews, a niece that are half Indian and half black and in-laws that are Indian. Personally I have no problems marrying or dating any race once I found the person attractive. Change is good.
