Well hey the Americans have theirs, the Canadians and even the Australians too. Why can't we Caribbean folks have one too? It could be a great cultural exchange, we could get together to gossip, talks about our yummy food and wonderful natural attractions, discuss Caribbean affairs, drive each other nuts and hey maybe actually do some DATING. Heck its cheaper to probably travel here than it is to arrange some distant meet up in the back of beyond, and since lots of folks here neither wish to travel too far or relocate it could be the answer for some of us. And to be honest I can't say I've met the majority of scammer types coming from here as I've seen from other places. And the rest of you guys can always drop by and wonder "what the heck are they saying?" and we'll provide translations. And if some of you lucky folks do hook up and are looking for some place nice and romantic to kick back we could provide suggestions of which of our nice islands to visit. See, win-win all around. From my mouth to the Mods ears. (Oh well it was worth a try at least )
Passions eh? Well number one on my passion list is my daughter, what can I say I'm her biggest fan.
Number two would be art and history in equal measures. I paint and at one time worked as a goldsmith. I like to read a lot of stuff too, mostly art or history related. History is one of my biggest passions, I enjoyed it at high, I enjoyed it at University so much I ended up doing two archeology courses. Part of my job is preserving our Carnival heritage through archiving, collecting and researching stuff related to our Carnival. The passion for history runs so deep, I spent two weeks visiting one of our historical cemeteries, photographing and documenting information on a lot of the tombs there for a University paper I was writing on Grave Art. Most people might see cemeteries as scary places but the fact is you can learn a lot about different cultures, track epidemics, lifestyles, etc...from studying these tombs. Yep history and art definitely my passions.
Hi CJ. Haven't read the book but I can tell you this much expecting 'open' dialogue here about anything even remotely religious is like waiting for snow to fall in a desert.
Well thank God for a little interacial getting together for without it many of us here would not exist. I don't have a problem with it because I'm accustomed to seeing people of different races everyday, many happy in love and married with children. It might be a problem for some who are not as exposed to folks who are different but to me once there is love why not? It can only but add to all the other wonderful mixes.
Ah another fishy. Happy Birthday to you too! One of my cousin's is also celebrating his birthday today as well and I know of at least two who will be celebrating tomorrow.
So you are moving on my Pisces Sister. I hope you know that I will certainly miss you. Just finished my studies at University(for now)last year and I know how those sacrifices go. You do what you feel you must to better yourself, you will have my support. It was certainly a pleasure meeting you here, you're a beacon of compassion and level headedness. Only the best is wished for you. Its not goodbye so much as till we meet again.
Ok Girls. What so you really want from us. I know we can be stupid sometimes and think from our other little head, but what is it that you really want us to do ?? This a good learning process for us who are lacking in intelligence.[/quote]
Well at least SOME intelligence would be a good start.
I really don't get what's whould be so attractive as a man about spending endless hours in some cramped up cell, looking through a bunch of bars like some gorilla in a zoo, having to look at a bunch of hairy legged men day after day, having to watch my back all the time, living with the threat of being shanked or worse if I dropped a bar of soap in the shower....and people actually go BACK for repeat sessions of this? Maybe its just me but hell to the no!.
RE: Would you date a male nurse??
Well maybe in your case she could pistol whip you into dating her.
