Such people are exhausting and can actually damage your health. There is a halfway option however. Tell her that she can't come over any more but you will talk by phone or meet for a coffee the odd time. Tell her straight why this is. If she accepts this then all is good and it shows she might finally be reflecting on her own behaviour. If she doesn't accept and goes ballistic then that's the end of that, problem solved. It's vital however not to go back on your resolve, don't feel sorry for her and give in, that would be the worst outcome.
I don't believe in tearing down history (I presume you mean statues), suckling off the government and I don't have a high opinion of George Floyd. You see mikey these are the mistakes you make when you presume rather than ask someone's views, when you put them in a category and make assumptions about them.
I know exactly what you mean about kids doing small jobs. My garden needs work and I just cannot get a kid or retired person to do it. I can get a professional alright but they charge too much and would probably turn down my garden as being too small a job to be worth their time. When I was younger kids were always calling to houses offering to do garden or yard work....maybe they get their money too easily nowdays!
