RE: help needed in finding an english Book

RE: Codes, codes, codes

They are a nuisance but just hang in there as it won't be for much longer. People who work in that area of technology say that codes/numbers will soon be replaced by things like finger print recognition and voice recognition.

RE: What's on your mind ?

Yeah they were. Comments were coming in faster than you could keep up with them.

Now it's tumbleweed.

RE: Reversing Diabetes.

Same thing with my brother, has a real sweat tooth, he gave up these things and improved a lot.

RE: The arguments for and against the death penalty.

The invasion of privacy is something you have to accept if you commit a serious crime, just like being locked up in jail/hospital.
The common good deserves whatever it can learn from you and what you did.

RE: What’s your view on David Ike?

Lol, you got in just before me mate, it would indeed explain a lot.

RE: Settling For Second Bests?

Absolutely, at least the men had the escape of work and the pub though, the women were often stuck 24/7 at home with the kids.

RE: Settling For Second Bests?

A friend of mine was told by her mother that she (the mother) realised after six months of marriage that she had made a mistake.
In those days in Ireland there was no divorce and also a massive stigma against marriage break down. So she had no escape, she knew she faced decades of unhappiness. What a nightmare!

RE: Settling For Second Bests?

I'd say that in the past a lot of people, mainly women, came under huge pressure to marry because of the difficulties of being single. A lot of women must have had terrible regret when they realised what they had settled for.

RE: The arguments for and against the death penalty.

Of course they don't accept the notion of karma just as they don't accept other daft superstitions. While nobody ever fully understands human behaviour I think most of them would have a better than average insight.

RE: The arguments for and against the death penalty.

That's a good point. It's better to study these people as there is something to be learned from them, perhaps. Even after their death from old age their brains should be examined to see if any clues lie there.

RE: Do you think trump will win in 2020?

Once again Conrad you use your favourite emoticon, the mocking one. Are you aiming to get a cash prize? Do you win something once you've reached 1000 of these emoticons?
So much easier to use than going to the bother of articulating a point of view.......

moping This little guy is my favourite, cute isn't he?

RE: Which first date venue…would women choose?

I agree, it's just about the worse place for a first date in my experience.

RE: What is a cure to inner fear/Anxiety...?

You have to keep battling it, never stop the fight.

RE: What's One Thing You Have Done?

Mmmmm......I'm not very adventurous. I've done a parachute jump, although I'd say I'm not the only one here to have.

RE: What's One Thing You Have Done?

Toxic masculinity, you just can't accept that you have no place on this thread, nobody wants you.

RE: Returnees
