If I'd one day left: I'd write a note to my siblings saying thanks for everything. I'd write a note to my friends saying goodbye. I'd write a note to my nephews/nieces telling them how proud I am of how they turned out. I'd go for one last walk. I'd read my favourite poetry. (I wouldn't have time for a whole book). Finally I'd start drinking and listening to my favourite music. I'd drink a lot because if there's no tomorrow then there's no hangover right?
The left didn't steal any election, just as Trump didn't steal the last one, he was elected fair and square. However he has shown that he is a potential dictator and a loathsome human being. I hope he doesn't die, but only because I want to see him in a jumpsuit sitting in a prison cell or better still that Covid wrecks his long term health. Nobody would deserve it more.
Well at least we aren't stupid like half of the American electorate. Trump said once that he could shoot someone on the streets of New York and still get his base to vote for him. We in Europe have a more advanced political culture than you guys have. All you can do is shout 'commies, socialists, anarchists, every time you say anything. If you want to ignore the nature of Trump then that's up to you but don't expect us to do the same. We are a bit more discerning.
Silly point. What we can do is the most we can to prevent these children from existing in the first place. Fatal foetal abnormality means the child will suffer and then die, how inhumane to force life on such a baby. Only very rigid thinking would make someone want to do that.
I'd rather do the right thing. I don't agree with your view on what makes people bad, some are just born bad, evil people who have to be kept down, unreformable people.
The law is full of archaic language like this! It meant that prisoners had to work during the day, working in the fields, farms, factories and things like that.
Nothing to do with dictators or systems of government S. This used to be the way democratic states worked. Penal servitude was a part of the justice system of the UK and included Ireland of course in those times. We could do worse than go back to it.
I profoundly disagree with you there S. The only language some know is violence. The only way to get them to stop is to inflict it on them in a sustained way until their spirit is broken. This will destroy them mentally and physically and make them harmless to society. While this is not pretty by any means it is the only way to solve the problem and no 'modern' ways of solving it work.
