I was 6 or 7 years old. I had got myself into a patch of poison oak. I had that stuff everywhere. Yes, everywhere. Yes, there too. So I had this nice medicated cream from the doctor that I was supposed to rub on it. There I was rubbing on the cream, and it felt good, so I got some more and kept on rubbing. Then suddenly, it felt really good, and I've been beating off ever since.
The fever, and resulting seizure was a symptom of the pneumonia. When pneumonia is caused by bacteria, the onset and severity is greater than with viral pneumonia.
They gave her antibiotics, and sent us on our way. I'll be checking in on her later.
