I left work at Halliburton last summer to go to work for another company that pays a little more. As it turns out, I don't enjoy working at the other company as much. I am eligeble to be rehired at Halliburton, but so far have been frustrated in my attempts to get back on there.
Well, I got a call from a girl named Shelby today to ask me if I would be interested in coming on Friday to take a battery test that is part of their lengthy pre-employment process. I'm excited Journal! I told Shelby I'd be happy to do an assault and battery on her battery test. For real Journal, the last test that I took for this company was when they sent me to crane operator school...I scored so high on it that the FSQC (field service quality control supervisor) accused me of cheating. He said it's impossible to do that well without cheating. Oh well, apparently not.
Anyhow, wish me well Journal. I really want to go back to work there, and wear the fireman look-alike suit again. Just don't call it a Santa Claus suit Journal! You know that pisses me off!

It means, "I'm not really comfortable with lying, but I don't want to hurt you feelings either." I think it is a legitimate response. Should one feel obligated to answer every question asked? I don't.
It's like when you go to church and someone says, "Hey, I've been missing you." I just look at them and say, "Awwwww! I missed you too." The look on their face is priceless, because they usually aren't trying to express a genuine yearning for your presence. They expect you to tell them why you weren't there, so they can decide whether they are more spiritual than you or not.
I really hate lying, but I don't think being honest means that I have to tell everyone what I'm thinking all of the time. I belive it's perfectly acceptable to say something like, "Don't ask me that.", or "NOYB"
What I feel for you is deep, total, and enduring - a love you can count on without ever having to worry. So when you look ahead to future changes, or think about how the past used to be, don't forget to look beside you, because that's where you'll find me loving you with all my heart....
That's one thing you can count on that will never ever change.
L'amour se plaît un peu dans le dérèglement, est un grand maître, il instruit tout d'un coup. L'amour est une passion qui ne se soumet à rien, et à qui au contraire, toutes choses se soumettent.
