On a side note, I now count 5 from this thread that were at the games today and none of you managed to meet up for a drink/slagging match/discussion......
I've just remembered the best statement of the day......
Joe Brolly reckons Seanie Johnston is a great man when playing against a weak team......put him on against the likes of Antrim and he'll have the game of his life. His words, not mine
If Kildare get a handy draw, you could see them still there in August, but like you, I think that boat has sailed now. I really thought they would up it a notch this year and make the infamous "breakthrough"
I'm glad you found it entertaining, it's very hard to judge what a game like that will look like to a neutral....
I'd be confident of overcoming Down, but you never know, it's a lot of pressure on the lads going for 2 in a row and it's never been done in Ulster after coming through the preliminary round.
I know they say the players won't be thinking that way, but it's going to be splashed all over the media for the next 3 weeks
Don't get me wrong, I think FB is great for staying in touch with peeps you don't see often, I re-connected with a girl I was at school with in England that I hadn't spoken to in over 20 yrs!!!!
I had one "friend" that would post a comment and immediately reply to it herself ........
