Everyone has their own reasons for saying a public goodbye, but I've always believed that 99% of them are just to get people to shower them with compliments. That's my opinion, could be right, could be wrong
If, and when, I finally kick this dirty habit, I won't feel the need to do so publicly. Anyone that matters to me on here, I'm in touch with in real life, and I couldn't see anyone showering me with compliments anyway so what would be the point

It all depends on the situation.....did they end the relationship? If so, are you over it/dealing with it? If you're not, you will keep checking up on them on here, and that is NEVER good
