I was looking back over the threads earlier (it didn't take long ) and there are actually 5 or 6 sign up threads for meets in Edmonton, going back over the years....
What happened since then? I know distance is a big thing and all that, but still......
Just an observation, but there are over 580 "views" of this thread, since last October, and yet only 11 people have posted on it
I have noticed that there are an excessive number of "views" on every thread on the CA forums compared to the amount of comments. Are you really all that shy?
Much and all as I would love you all to visit my wonderful country (we're even calling The Gathering this year to try and rope people in), I feel the Canadian side of CS is in such disarray that I am willing to travel over to sort you all out!!!
As for the Scots....don't worry about them.....curling really is a bit of an embarrassment
That's an argument that has come up here in relation to "hands free" and it's a valid one.
What are we supposed to do? Sit into our car and stare straight ahead at the road? No radio to distract us? No conversation with passengers to distract us?
I've always found that the most dangerous drive for me is on an open road/motorway where there is nothing to keep me alert
