......leave it with me, I have just the person in mind for you hug

RE: What's on your mind part 27

Fair enough, I just like the honest ones wink

Anyhooooo, who the hell are you, and what have you done with the real Fraya? laugh

RE: What's more important to you: pretty face or hot body

Face, every time!! grin

Eyes, closely followed by the smile smitten

RE: What's on your mind part 27

I've never tasted marmite, the smell was enough laugh

Hey, I'm just an auld romantic, that loves the craic....public/general innuendo doesn't do it for me, hence the reason I'm not here very often. I just find it very childish dunno

RE: What's on your mind part 27

I don't think so....

I think the footfall has just depreciated so much, that it's become more of an exclusive club?

It's now turned into "marmite" laugh

RE: What's more important to you: pretty face or hot body

Sorry, I don't "do" shallow on here.....now, if we were sitting in the pub? I'd scrutinise and grade every guy that walked in the door banana

RE: What's on your mind part 27

Ahem wave

Seems that if you don't get into the whole "innuendo" "we're just mates" thingy, you don't get into it? confused

sigh

RE: What's more important to you: pretty face or hot body

Hmmm, actually, "everybody" doesn't want both!

Personality wins out every single time, and that is not being PC, it's being honest

RE: Dear Canada

Hey Ken hug

An infrequent visitor these days.
I never came across the pizza dude before, but I guessed it was a wind up!

Big cities are the same the world over, they don't represent a nations true attributes. I've always said it, live in a city and you could be anywhere in the world.

One day, we'll have a beer cheers

RE: Post a Song thread

I heard that song for the first time, December 2013.
I haven't stopped listening to it since smitten

RE: Post a Song thread

Jeez MJ, it's no wonder you're single laugh

head banger

RE: Post a Song thread

Just because this is how I feel right now dancing

RE: GAA Thread

That's more like it Bainisteoir boxing

I'm a wee bit slow on the analysis this year, but it's early days, I'll catch up laugh

Just for a change, what are your thoughts on the recent "sledging" controversy? I'm actually ashamed that it's all been coming out of Ulster, it's not unique to us "up here", but there ya go.

Personally, this media attention is really pissing me off. Sledging has been going on since Moses was a boy, club and county level. For the ordinary Joe Soap reading about it, it may sound cruel, but truth be told, every player expects to be on the receiving end of it at some stage of their career.

I could type and type about it all night, but I'll wait to see what the reaction is first laugh

RE: What's on your mind part 27

Hi Witty hug

I'm just passing through, early start in the morning

RE: What's on your mind part 27

There's nothing of interest on my mind, I just wanted to say that, today, I'm as happy as the proverbial pig grin

RE: GAA Thread

Hey Moc wave

In my opinion, McGuinness brought McBrearty in too soon. He'll only be 22 this August, still growing as a player and in my opinion, will do better under Rory's guidance than the former.

With regards to Ulster, what can I say that I haven't been saying for the last 20 years? It is the ONLY competitive province, and always has been. People laugh at me in disbelief when I say that Ulster means more to me than Sam, but anyone that really knows me, knows that I mean that beer

I'll chat about Armagh during the week, I have other things to discuss with Shtan wink

RE: Does it really pay to be nice?

If you believe that "big brother"???? gave you a friend suggestion for me on facebook, go for it!! I'm not going to play stupid, as you would like me to do, I know who you are, if you really need to know about me that badly, just ask.....it's a whole lot easier than what you are trying to pull me into :-P

RE: Does it really pay to be nice?

My puppy hug

You may guess that I am totally "in the mood" wave

RE: Does it really pay to be nice?

RE: GAA Thread

AGAIN, in vane....this is a thread, dedicated, and usually respected by the auld GAA folk. If you wish (aka, wanna?) play any other game, please feel free to do so on PM

RE: Does it really pay to be nice?

Total snapshot, it seems like you are trying too hard to be nice? Nobody worth thinking about likes "needy"

Does it pay to be nice? Always, manners cost nothing cheers

RE: Ireland Thread 2015 - The 80's Kids of Ireland Unity

Movies = Fiction

Romeo and Juliet can meet wherever the hell they want....Lidl, the pub, online, stuck in a traffic jam, who knows?

.....and on that point, I bid you goodnight tip hat

RE: Ireland Thread 2015 - The 80's Kids of Ireland Unity

So why link your thoughts to the Catholic church?

If you want input into the debate of social interaction, I'm with you. I just don't get the church aspect of it?

As 2 great men once said to me, there are 2 things that should never be discussed in the pub (and I think of this place like chatting in the pub), Politics and Religion thumbs up

I'm not raining on your parade, just confused as to your thinking....

RE: Ireland Thread 2015 - The 80's Kids of Ireland Unity

Just goes to show how long it is since I replied to a thread on here, premature postation laugh

Anyway, here's what I was thinking....

1. The church has not deformed
2. The communities of Ireland still do, and will always, mingle
3. Why do you think the church and communities are so linked?
4. I brush shoulders with randomers every day, it's one of my favourite pastimes, but it has nothing to do with "Unity to a holy devine" doh

You wanted something bold and brash? I'm not sure if what I've said is either, it's just my thoughts on your thoughts.....

With regards to the empty churches, put forward thinking, honest priests into them and they won't be empty for long. Other than that.....rave clubs? dunno

RE: Ireland Thread 2015 - The 80's Kids of Ireland Unity

RE: GAA Thread

In fairness, I really don't think he's going to New York to progress his football career laugh

It's great that the lads away from home can keep playing at "county" level. I just wonder what the point is in including them in the All Ireland Series.

RE: GAA Thread

Hey Stan hug

I'm not even getting to club games, never mind anything else!!
I am starting to feel that 'auld butterfly in the tummy thingy.....championship time, not pregnancy laugh

We'll have to try and get the tipping thread going again this year, new blood Stan, new blood wink

RE: GAA Thread

Hey lads and lassies, welcome aboard. Great to see some new, and knowledgeable, input this year wave

Unfortunately, I didn't see the game today, not even the highlights.
On a different topic, something I have been wondering about for a few years now.....

London and NY in the championship? Ok, the London campaign a couple of years ago was great, but, what would happen if New York actually win a game one of these years? Are they going to travel over to Ireland for games? Are we expected to travel to NY for games? Anything could happen, lets say they win a few games, as London did......just thinking of the logistics of it all.
