I'm with you there, I had a "cull" during the week and just kept peeps that I'm interested in and keep in touch with. I cannot for the life of me understand this need to have hundreds of "friends"....

have you ever sent a "friend request" to someone that you know won't "accept", just for the hell of it???

I tipped Tyrone for Ulster too, but only because I didn't think we'd make it to the semis

After Derry, Fermanagh is the only other Northern team that I just can't bring myself to support, but Cavan have absolutely no belief in themselves and I'm thinking that Canavan will bring a bit of fighting spirit into Fermanagh

Off topic, but still related.....

My aunt was living in England and would travel home to Donegal about 3 times a year....

She got transferred to Cork and was delighted, until she realised it took her longer to get to Donegal from Cork than it did from Birmingham

I've never considered "dating" someone living in a different country....same way as I wouldn't consider dating someone living in Cork/Kerry/Limerick/Wexford etc.........

I suppose it all depends on circumstances.......

I took my English brother in law to Croke Park for the Donegal V Dublin draw (I'm sure Prowler will tell me the year).

There were 4 of us walking down towards the ground, when this van stopped, the side door opened, and a group of Dubs asked us if we wanted a lift. The Donegal part of our party ran across the road and jumped into the back of the van, with my brother in law hanging back, looking at me as if to say "ARE YOU MAD!!!!!!"

He still talks about that day and his shock at the difference between GAA and soccer
