RE: International News Thread.

The bus drivers in Dublin are on strike again, today and tomorrow doh
Don't get me wrong, let them strike for what they believe in, but, the traffic!!!! It took me 30 mins to get to work today instead of my usual 15 mumbling

RE: What's inside your mind part 29

Two points....

1. I don't have balls
2. What the hell are you talking about? It sounds, eh, interesting? grin

RE: What's inside your mind part 29

Wheelchair basketball.....it's just a wee bit mad!!! shock

RE: Greetings regulars

Yep, 30 seconds later and it says "6 minutes" laugh

RE: Greetings regulars

Is there a new "6 minute rule" since I was last here?
Molly's post said "6 minutes", I replied and, straight away, it said "6 minutes confused

Actually, I think I remember something like this happening before....

Pure gold, I loved the one after they won the silver and the BBC called them over...."we have to watch what we say to these guys" laugh

RE: What's inside your mind part 29

No Molly, NO!!!
Another question, if Gerry "the mad professor" is her trainer, why is he not in Rio and why is he constantly putting her down, rather than building her up?

Hard luck Ciara ireland

RE: Have you been asked to join kik

laugh

I'm doing ok thanks.
I'll pop back occasionally to make sure you are all behaving yourselves wink

RE: Have you been asked to join kik

I've found that going out into the garden and screaming at the neighbours dog is more satisfying laugh

RE: Have you been asked to join kik

Ok, I've heard of all the others and have never had any random requests on them. I have had a few on skype though.

I know this has been asked before, and I know my mum was almost caught out (she is 85 though), but do people seriously still fall for these scams? Barring Americans that is laugh

RE: Have you been asked to join kik

Hey Molly wave

Just passing through to see what the craic is. The first time I logged on in almost a year (a couple of weeks ago), I made one comment on a thread.....next day, it was gone laugh

Nice to see a familiar face though handshake

RE: Ok result tomorrow?

Thanks, I'll do my best.

32 of us local folk (hicksville) bought an envelope for €10 at the beginning of the championship, not knowing which county name was inside it. Those envelopes are going to be opened tomorrow before the game so the craic should be good and I'm expecting the finalists to stand at least one drink for the rest of us cheers

Ps......Guess the score prize was at €695 on Thursday night so that would be a nice wee earner too cheers

RE: Your Dating Ad

Both, I suppose laugh

Newfoundland was our first point of invasion back in the day. I've only met one Newfie, but it has to be the strangest Canadian accent ever!!! (in a nice way)

RE: Your Dating Ad

RE: Your Dating Ad

Molly, ^^^^^^ AKA as the Cork accent of Canada laugh

RE: Ok result tomorrow?

Dublin win, but I'm not giving a scoreline laugh
I have 4 different predictions on a "guess the score" and may add another one or two tomorrow.

For the first time ever, I'll be in the pub for All Ireland Final day cheers

RE: Your Province

See, this is the thing with Canadians.....do you want to live in a province where you can earn mega bucks and spend all your time complaining about the weather and have no time to enjoy the money you are earning, or do you want to have less money but better quality of life???

I have visited BC, Alberta and Sask and I know where I would choose to live wave

RE: Your Province

What's not to love about BC smitten sigh

RE: What's in your mind part 28

I'm with you there Wittyone thumbs up

Before the righteous brigade jump in and say "it's up to you to change it/you can avoid anything you don't like/if you don't contribute it won't change/blah, blah, blah......I have tried all of this, I just have a very low level of tolerance.

My pet peeve is threads going off topic after just 2 or 3 posts. Annaroache (or something like that) has tried recently, but it has immediately turned into an innuendo infested sick tray (sorry if that offends peeps, but I call it as I see it!!).

I will now quietly back out of the room and go back to whatever it was I've been doing for the last couple of years wave
