Perhaps they aren't playing hard to get... they just aren't giving anything away.
Why assume all women need be fluffy little coat check girls or eager midnight vixens? Why assume all men need be romantic horse riding poets or muscle bound bad boys? If you don't take the bait, you're not who the action was intended for... Why get hung up over things that you simply can not control(and that may not apply to you)?
The more you pigeonhole the opposite gender, the smaller your selections become. We all like what we like & in our own way, seek to filter out who we are not looking for... sometimes a person forgets this when they read profiles. It's not personal... it's preference.
