RE: Hope no one else started 2009 like I did.

I'm pretty sure I got all my antics out of my system towards the end of the year. Two concussions & numerous health battles in a new town... I think I'm all set to have a healthy year.

RE: What's your favourite picture..

I have a photograph of my grandparents hanging in my studio & It's always number 1...

...but, I luv this little photo I have of the illuminated inner eye's vascular structure. If you've never seen what an eye looks like from the inside, it's actually very beautiful.
I've lost track of who said it, but there's a saying:
"Some of the most beautiful things are hidden inside the human body"

Never expect love in return, instead wait for it to grow in their heart & be content it grew in yours.

RE: If you don't like someone?

When someone sends me mail, I look at a few things...

The letter to see how literate the person is or perhaps which country they hail from. The content of the letter tells me if in fact this person took the time to read my profile. You could say I score them for paying attention. If someone sends me marriage proposals and requests I talk to them on IM (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE), I ignore the little gnat. I mean, how hard is it to read on my profile that I have NOT got marriage as my listed objective(in fact it says friends) and that my IM is private(feel free to go peek, lol). If they make any kind of comment that is in fact not related to my profile, I refuse any further contact. Ie., "love your blue eyes"... oh puleeez, they're hazel Einstein.

I look at the person's profile. If they say they are from two totally different places... ie.,
"I am from Nigeria" but profile says New York...*errrrt... no deal.
If they try to convince me of something, yet the profile details oppose their comments... denied.

I do check to see if this person even viewed my profile.

I also read to see if they've posted anything in the forums... and yes, I will read back as far as a year. It's amazing what you can catch if you pay attention. wink

If I suspect something fishy, I google.
Always do your homework. You may not be just helping yourself... but others as well.

RE: what kind of woman look men here?

I am guessing you mean to ask:

What kind of women look for men online?
What kind of qualities do women look for in a man?

(Hopefully this helps people translate your question.)
As for the answer... we all seek a person who puzzle fits our needs and desires. If one is slightly docile, perhaps a more dominant partner is sought. If one is very athletic, then an active and healthy partner will suit them.

Each of us is completely unique, hence one of the reasons this search takes so long & so many services and dating sites are available.

RE: Help with excema

Prebiotics & Probiotics:
Probiotics are used when Excema begins to develop in infants. For those who don't know it, probiotics are the healthy or "good" bacteria, are live microbial organisms naturally found in the digestive tract. Since Excema is often viewed as an allergic disorder, digestion is the first place to start.
Has this person gone to an allergist to have a full allergy screening done? I would suggest it. Avoiding foods & irritants that stimulate the condition can greatly reduce outbreaks and severity.
"Prebiotics" are also thought to improve the balance of probiotics in the intestines. They are non-digestible carbohydrates that stimulate the growth of beneficial bacteria in the intestines. Sources of prebiotics include fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS) and inulin(a group of naturally occurring polysaccharides or simple sugars- not to be confused with insulin), found in onions, asparagus, chicory, and banana. FOS is also available as a supplement and is sometimes combined with probiotic dietary supplements.

Creams and gels:
Chemical ones often cause worse outbreaks because they are addressing the symptoms, not the problem. Gels and creams made from herbal extracts of chamomile, 1% and 2%licorice, and witch hazel have been used to reduce symptoms of eczema.
***Consult a qualified herbal practitioner before using any topical herbal applications. Some herbs, such as chamomile, are known to cause allergic contact dermatitis.***

Gamma-linolenic acids (GLA):
GLAs such as evening primrose oil and borage oil, are a type of essential fatty acid. GLA has been shown to correct deficiencies in skin lipids that can trigger inflammation, which is why it is thought to help with eczema.

One of the most important tools in understanding the sources, triggers and aspects to this disorder come from simple observation. Have this person keep a diary. By listing all the foods he consumes and the daily rituals he endures, a clearer picture will begin to get painted...
hopefully lending to an easier management of this disorder.

Hope some of this helps... always seek professional advice before experimenting!
