This is how the people are in Australia as they have been inundated with scammers wanting to get a free ride over here,they have reason to be suspicious of you dont you think.?????
Merri and Toff I think the outcome is far to depressing, unless we run out of electricity for a few months and force the people to see what they are missing....even then I doubt it . It will change when the earth renews itself again or it blows to smithereens. All we can do is the best we can for friends and family and the ones who need us! as there is no solution.
You know its strange really, I think that no one is allowed to express themselves any more or allowed to do anything as if something goes wrong there is always the problem of someone being sued. The outcome is a lot the fun things to do in the fresh air are not available any more.
Many yrs ago I watched a sci fi film where the population just sat there in booths doing everything they wanted to do having the time of thier lives but never leaving this booth with these headsets on.
The riots spread because of twitter and face book.....word goes out there is a rumble on and they attack like Crows to a dead body there is no excuse needed. Its the Mob syndrome.
A lot havent got the brains or the feelings to care as their parent did to them! unfortunately they also breed like rabbits and live on the payments..... they are the ferals of our society. Also our teachers are hamstrung.

There are posts in other forums about the new population of young adults that have been brought up with no discipline in their lives.... meaning in my eyes no consequences for their actions be it by the laws in the UK that it is an offence to smack or punish your child or that the feral parents let their offspring run wild with no boundaries as they just dont care.
I am of the old school as I believe that children need to be guided on how to act in society reared with love and care yet taught how to behave with their peers and if they misbehave there has to be consequences that is carried out in the animal kingdom this is nature.
Its a world gone mad, teachers are instructed to do nothing as well....yet in the media and everywhere there is violence and murder WHAT IS THAT TELLING OUR YOUNGSTERS. I dont know anymore.
It seems the perpetrators in the riots will only get a sentence of a few weeks which is just enough to give them respect and standing with their peers.
A lot of gangs exist because they need conformity in their lives a family if you will ,the Kids need to belong somewhere anywhere.
And so it goes on and on through the generations..... in the end a breed of Zombies no feelings no love no nothing.................if this madness keeps up and gets worse this could be one of the outcomes.

Hi been following skye news over here, its pretty grim... our own Aus news service seemed to think it was problems with some of the Muslim population but reading what you guys have said its the thug element plain and simple......arnt they allowed to Riot at the football anymore.?
They talk about the Burka being banned.... I think the Hoods should be chopped off they are really sinister on the wrong person.

Well I live in a rural area and if you can find a place for $150 to rent I know a few young people around here would love to know about it. Now you are the one making the sweeping statements judging people that you dont know at all. You even have an opinion about me! without the slightest idea of who I am.
I think we should realise that we are swapping these boat people for genuine refugee's and there are plenty of them! it will be interesting to see what they are like as the way some people are carrying on Aus is sending them to a hell on earth.
Remember these boat people have got the money to pay for the trip in the first place. I agree with AA. the Labor Gov Must look after their own people (fat chance).
The danger is Anyone can come in by boat,Aus has taken in tens of thousands of refugee's that have been through the proper process and that is how it should be.We could be allowing more Murderers, Rapists and Terrorists in as they have no proof of identity in many cases, in fact innocent Australians have already suffered the consequences from this.
The Labor gov has got themselves in this Jam all by themselves thanks to Brown and Co. Talking about B.Brown I dont see him shouting foul about all this! and why should he?feathered his nest nicely methinks and he wont be giving that up in a hurry.
Sorry guys I cannot express myself like some! all I can say is I have been on this earth for over sixty years and done the best I can,we never bucked the system worked hard, paid our Taxes and purchased a home. I love Australia its the best place in the world! but the way things are going at this space in time is not good!!! its a bloody madhouse out there.
The main problem is most of these so called children are not! as the age is 18 and under to be deemed a child..... so many young adults are posing as children and quite a few are now being found out,I would like to know how many are under 14yrs as its hard for an adult to pose at that or under.
Hi Darren went back there a few years ago and saw the lovely Cottage I grew up in had been replaced by a supermarket and all the surrounding farmland and Oak tree's gone.
We sold it for five thousand pounds back then,time and innocence wait for no man.
When I was in the racing industry I know of 4 jockeys killing them selves. I lovely guy who co wrote my daughters book threw himself in to the Yarra River he was Sunday editor for the age going with a wonderful lady. He had no worries and he committed suicide that really shook us up. My hairdresser did it too he was brilliant.
They were all male, I got very depressed but got help,Why oh why their close relations will live with that for the rest of their lives.
My daughter told me about 6 months after her accident she wanted to do it as she was told she would never ride again! but then thought about what it would do to myself and my then husband
