I dont wish to sound dumb' but wouldent it be better just to have one thread for the pic's like the name and a short description of pic at the top and the pic below...nothing else no chatty posts in between as I cannot really compare them if all over the place.

One thread for your Photo's only and another thread to chat about them if wanted when comp has ended.

And yet another for our scores
or am I missing something.

I cant vote yet as I cant sort them out as all different sizes and shapes all I can work out is so many of them are stunning (feel a real twit.

I have a different problem ..a severe bulging disk and its pressing on a nerve its causes quite a lot of Sciatica pain and I have to have an op as soon as possible will have to look into what they do.
This is one of the reasons I have never had health insurance as there are so many hidden costs.

If my pain became unbearable I would let them know even if I had to lay on their office floor screaming and moaning.
It does work.

I used to do that with all my different plants ,wrote all the names down but wouldent you know didnt know which from which.

I honestly wonder about myself sometimes.

No mine has a tall pole with a red flashing light on top (true)with a small brick shed.

And get this' still cant get a good signal from Telstra,Optus works fine though.

Oh my gosh all those Roses you would be spraying, fertilizing, dead heading and cutting them back for 7 days a week plus getting thorn scratches all over you.

I have got a few but they are the ones that had to look after themselves through the drought, funny thing is they are all in the beautiful pink beige colours, tough as anything.

The trouble is when a child misbehaves there has to be Consequences for their actions.

The School teachers are finding it so hard today because if a child misbehaves and has not been punished for it
they have to back off as no boundaries have been set for them by their Parents.... it Starts with them .

I dont mean give them a smack, for instance it my Grandchild is naughty she used to be sent to her bedroom,now its being banned from using her Play station and Computer, if she argues the time doubles and so on she knows now there will be CONSEQUENCES and that will hold her in good stead for the rest of her life we hope.

I know there are so many other variables of course I realise that,I am just getting back to basics and if those parents just follow that simple rule they have done their best by their child
and can do no more.

No wonder! your back paid you back ..nasty side effect when getting older.Welcome anyway, good to have new people on here and dont be a stranger as they are a great bunch but rather apt to go bed early.

We go through life living in these changes I treasure the memories
Of that era,in country England we had small groups of bikie gangs from the villages all around there were no Wars between them just a bit of cheeky bantering when they met up in one of the Rock an Roll Cafes in every small town.

Now and then a group of London boys strutted through in their Italian suits and winkle pickers with the local boys muttering in the corner.I treasure those times and I often wonder what my Granddaughter will have to contend with in this media world.

Oh happy days says the old lady tapping away on her Computer.

Hmmm For my first Op about a month ago only had to wait 6 weeks to get it done and that is a 100% success and no exercise or Tee Tree Oil could have fixed that.

Ok there are some cases that can be fixed up BUT there are others that by trying to fix your self could cause permanent disability or death.So many desperate Cancer sufferers get taken in by Quacks all the time.

If it wasent for the the operation of a quick thinking Doctor at the age of 23yrs for burst appendicitis I would not be alive to day as the pain eased instead of getting worse as the poison spread throughout my body.

Last time I touched base with her she was really busy with her flower business and going very well.

I was worried too as the poor darling has been battling an illness for quite a while but if anyone can get through it she will as she is one tough cookie bless her.

This thread is very well named for the work my guy does,he teaches teenagers to accept the world for what it is,as I have said before they have problems either being born with them or or have it thrust upon them through an awful family situation.

About 70% of them will improve enough to become useful members of society but that 25% can never improve enough as they will just become part of the system and end up in Jail just clogging it up.

The other 5% could become another Martin Bryant as they are so far gone like wounded animals they hit out at everything as the hate and the hurt is so deep.

There are very few schools like this in Aus and when it becomes time to leave at about 17yrs there are no facilities out there to carry on with the 25% left.

That brings us to that 5% who live in the world of darkness just pray they dont breed or move in next door.

No Rob... Risky would have had an MIR scan as I have had one done
and its not anything that hanging on a beam will fix,in fact it could be downright dangerous.

This is something that I do know a bit about as I spent nearly three months on and off with my daughter in the Austin hospital and then rehab.

I saw so much heartbreak in that time for instance one little girl aged 13 years had her spinal cord severed right through by hitting her head on the bottom oh a swimming pool,she will be in a wheelchair for the rest of her life.

Its really heartbreaking to see the Para's and the Quads sort of separate into their own little groups, the moans of sheer Terror into the night with the nightmares they cannot wake from.

So much not prepared for as the battle was just beginning,had to get her out of this understaffed place of misery and we did.

Risky you must do all in your power to get that op as soon as you can get another GP they are the key to finding a decent surgeon.
Think.... when you were working is there anyone out there that would know someone.

Oh dear I have a back prob been to see the surgeon Prof Kate Drummond in Melbourne I will only have to wait 3 months I never had insurance, my own Doc said she will push me through insurance or not a rare Doctor indeed.

I bet if you ask around you will find one in Queensland.You are urgent DONT HOLD BACK OK....

They are talking about Soldiers bringing their dogs who stand by their side next time as they have been a godsend,and also putting a memorial up for those who lost their lives.
