Hi Serene' there are many good pet stores online just google the cheapest online pet stores there is a huge choice.
One of the cheapest is Pet Super Savers in Queensland' before you buy always put the name of the store and and ask for reviews that way you will know its safe as most are genuine in Aus.
Often ebay is not the cheapest so always get other prices to compare anything first.

Cant remember when I last read a book I have a huge bookcase that is full and I have read most of the books in it from different times in my life .
Hmmm lets see... Gardening books,Breeding the Racehorse lots of them (that in itself is an exact science)'James Herriot the whole series,Biographies from Winston Churchill to David Niven,to name but a few........

Now I follow Politics but from the last few months I seriously wonder why, its more childish and mean than primary school bullying....at the moment I am reading about that pumped up little twerp Alan Jones.. hope he gets what is coming to him.

Reading with amazement that Ten Thousand people marched for that poor girl Jill Meagher who was murdered (power of the brainwashing press brought the Herd syndrome out en masse) it was terrible of course' but never seen this happen with a murder victim before' shades of Lady Diana methinks.

The more I read about the daily goings on in Aus the more Cynical I become 'and that is not a good thing as it is all about manipulation and greed.
The Media can brainwash Joe Public to do anything they want ...food for thought.

They are absolutely beautiful Rob' our youngest Golden Retriever( Rio) looked so much like the puppies when he was younger even our Vet thought he was a Mirama.
Do this breed bond with humans or are they better with other animals.???

Awe Curly' now you dont really want to be closer to us in the eastern states because that is what makes WA the place it is' when we lived there in the seventies do you remember that there was a full on alert that a small flock of sparrows had been sighted as there was no way that they were going to be allowed to stay' never really remembered the outcome but its still declared a pest kill on sight : and when we lived in Tassie the Foxes got smuggled on board the Ferry ...settled in very well so I heard.

Also German Shepherds were banned in WA and Northern Territory as they were worried they would breed with the Dingo's never found out why just this breed ...think that silly law was dropped while we were still there in WA' would have thought the Great Dane Or the English Mastiff would have been a bigger worry as they could throw giant Dingo's.

Have you still got the friendliest Taxi drivers over there? I remember they were a laugh a minute.

I have been an Aus Citizen for over forty years but was born in the UK...but Aus is my home.
I have been back to the UK three times over the years as my ex wanted to go' but I got so homesick for Aus after the first couple of weeks it wasent funny' in fact I was a whinging Aussie.
There are some wonderful things I love about the UK ...the people, the incredible countryside,and the lovely villages but this big wild rather isolated Country is so very speciel
and I believe the epitome of Australia is WA Wow.....if any of you have never been there try to go as that State is a law unto itself' they dont give a stuff what goes on anywhere else ...why should they as they have it all ,I will always treasure the 4 years I lived there in the hills of Glen Forest.

I am Agnostic but would quite happily slip into the Christian group' that's the good thing about being Agnostic (for me anyway) because It would be nice to believe in God but alas' first and foremost
I am a Cynic ...its a form of protection I suppose' sometimes that happens when you have run the gambit of tragedy, hurt and despair in a lifetime.

If and when you come out the other side battered but not beaten and many have been in that position ...where does that leave you ? do you give in to depression and just sink deeper into the abyss or do you pull yourself out of it and say Forewarned is Forearmed' the choice is easy as life is too precious waste as we will not pass this way again.

Funny when you said the Collective it reminded me of an awful alien race in Star Trek the next Gen(yup Im a trekkie from way back) anyway they were called the BORG a more frightening lot I have never seen' they were like a hive of bee's who were all connected to the Collective so they all thought as one and there were Bad.
I often wondered where Gene Rodonbury(the writer) got his ideas from Hmmmmmmm.

I dont believe it is anything to do with something that was made up in the USA on Utube its just an excuse for causing a riot any time anywhere'just like the facebook or twitter message going around to all the Aus or otherwise thugs to start a riot of their own,now the latest Muslem protest has been cancelled (it was started by a female apparently) so now what happens well I suppose they can fight amongst themselves or go home very disappointed.
These type of morons thrive on hate and they wont be happy until they cause bloodshed.

In the sixties it was the Mods and Rockers it goes back to our very roots when the cavemen fought each other' some Humans havent evolved enough' its in their Genes to thrive on Hate and War and they will find any excuse to that end' they need it as long as they have protection of the Pack of course.JMO

OH MY GOSH Cant believe this..................................it was just a light hearted attempt to see if there was anyway for everyone to get on The first few replies took it that way and just seeing if people could choose which group to join as its a personal choice what religion or otherwise we want to be and the Freedom to do it.

As for Apartheid!!!!! my thoughts never came near that atrocity

This proves something anyway ....and that is people look for trouble even though non is intended and no matter what they will never change.

I say again it is your choice to choose what you want to be.

This is what I wanted it to look like on my first post but they were lumped in all together' as you can see the Hindu's are well protected.

Been thinking about this and came up with a solution ...yea yea its been done before of course but I havent heard of it so humour me OK.

The population of the world is split up like this according to Google.

Christianity ......33%

Islam ...............21%

Agnosticism.....15%

Hinduism..........14%

Others...............17%

So what could happen is split the World into four parts.


Christians


Islam Others Hindu's


Agnostics


What I have done is placed the Christians and Agnostics in a position to protect the gentle Hindu's.
I have put the Others in the middle so they can pop over to where they feel comfortable
be it North, South, East or West.

Of course there would be squabbles to get the best bits of the World but hey..... you have to start somewhere.

Now if any of you have any better idea's speak now 'aggressive solutions against Colour or Creed Not Allowed.

I agree about gutter mouth' I dont think I ever heard my mother swear' the worst was oh sh..............ger bless her' but I also believe that there is a place for swear words in extreme circumstances or situations like hitting your thumb with a hammer by mistake
or to really make someone pay attention at a critical time.
Other than that I dont use the F word.
