RE: anyone here bought one of those dual saws?

You know hardware stores sell trolleys quite cheaply as well I have got one that that has a big area to put things on.
Oh Cruiser is right any cutting or sawing to be done get someone to do it for you ....SAFETY FIRST as you are on your own and you are only a wee thing.hug

RE: anyone here bought one of those dual saws?

Just checked reviews its been around for a while, and its hard to get genuine reviews as per usual they have loaded pages and pages of their own ads everywhere... blocks out everything else. ,found one saying its a mickey mouse saw worth 10 bucks.
Grrrrrrrrrrrr this is par for the course.

RE: anyone here bought one of those dual saws?

All you do is get the name and ask for reviews.Learnt a while ago all that glitters is not gold your last thoughts are prob right.

RE: Society

Do you know what Merri it came to me many yrs later what he had done, too late to say a heartfelt thank you.

Since I have been with my partner a teacher and very gentle man I see and understand the passion that truly good teachers have.

Hmmm maybe I have been searching for my Dusty Miller........Oh dear this is getting to Freudian for me. uh oh super hole

RE: Society

Hi Merri I was an only child and I was very lonely sometimes all I had to play with were my pets,I never played with kids until I started school the first day I was petrified this went on for a while and I used to stand in the corner of the playground,or if a teacher was there I would stand next to her.

One day she said to me for goodness sake go and play.... and gave me a big push into the playground I was so scared I stayed where she pushed me I was 5yrs old.

After that I went right into myself and after a couple of yrs I went into a class for slow learners and the teacher was a man called Dusty miller we could get away with anything with him or so I thought.

I adored him he was so kind, before long I became very good at reading and he got me taking a class of very poor readers,I felt so important I loved it, I was eight yrs old.

I stayed in that class until I was 11yrs and helped him. From there I then went straight into high school and was always in the top 5,I became a prefect and then a head prefect, the next teacher in my life was Mrs Browning a history teacher she was cut from the same cloth.

I will never ever forget that gentle man .... I only hope that anyone who has demons to fight in their younger yrs they have a teacher like Dusty Miller in their lives.

This is a true story.

RE: Men haters

RE: How would you ever get over this!

She is not a mother....hug hug hugso sorry Tony.

RE: Queensland Elections Tomorrow

And that is how it should be of course.thumbs up

RE: Society

Yes I know Dags I spend about 2 hrs a day on the computer but.. ...just think if I was doing this as a child and not getting out to play.

Funny thing is there is a short piece in the Herald Sun today that states a survey was done and 50% of Children are spending way too much time watching TV and playing Computer games instead of getting outside and having fun,I dread to think about the long term consequences, just think about the school holidays parked indoors and not getting the vitamins that is so important for young growing bones let alone what it does for the brain.

RE: Society

Oh Merri my daughter and Grandaughter are living with us at the moment, I see my 11yr old get off the school bus puts her school bag down and makes a beeline to her laptop, in school holidays if they are not going out somewhere the same thing.

Though peer pressure she wants a mobile phone wants to get on face book. The hobby farm next door has 5 children age from 8yrs to 15yrs those kids are rarely outside, a couple of them came round to see my G.daughter but stayed only 10 mins because there was nothing to do, the reason is there was no TV on or Computer games to play and their parents are decent people.

This is not out of the norm the media is the baby sitter in a lot of cases,a lot of the time they play computer games in their room
It isolates families but keeps the kids quiet. blues

My G.daughter is only allowed to use the computer after school for an hour at the kitchen table...if she argues she is not allowed to go on at all.

Of course her mum is the worst in the world as non of the other kids have these restrictions of course a lot of them do' but as many of them dont.

My daughter was always outside doing something with her pony or helping her dad with the horses,we have plenty of room for a pony but not interested.
This has happened in one generation.....where will it end.JMO sigh
